Sorta agree with you and sammyspurs sammyspurs , not going to pretend last season was filled with great football, the bad did outweigh the good.
I like to think, that I can see where Poch is going with this, trying to emulate the style of football, that was played under him at Southampton. Although it sometimes in matches, might seem as if there's no plan on the pitch, if you listen to his post-match interviews, it's clear what he wants.

It's certainly got better than it was under AVB

To a degree Pochettino has been stuck with the same team so there was a limited scope to redesign it as we had no pace in the team

What the fuck was that?

Walker, Lennon, Kaboul, Rose, Chadli, Townsend, Lamela and Kane are all pretty quick.

Its not lack of pace, its a mixture of the set up and how we attack tactically, players that have little end product or are not clever enough with the ball, players that are not good enough, and players that were not wanted.

Njie is meant to be quick, but seeing as we dont play with wingers, he will also no doubt end up congested in the middle, switching flanks in a role that ultimately renders his speed useless.

Or maybe he´s actually not for sale, and we should have listened to them the last time and tried to get someone else.
From their site:

“I know we are living in an age where no club can say ‘never’ about the possibility of selling a player.

“However, the prospect of selling Saido is simply not on our agenda.

It's not in their agenda, but they're leaving themselves a way out. Will it go through or will it not? I'm not sure, but the way that people get all worked up about headlines, ITK's, and public posturing gets a little absurd at times.

Yeah I am thinking that especially as it's been made public on official site. When Juventus and Manure bid for Eriksen and Kane we all say fuck them! get lost not for sale. Yet when we bid on a player and the club says not for sale fuck off, we say it is posturing. Just unsettle him and up the bid we will get him. Let's not be hypocritical cunts here. WBA have every right to hold on to their player if they choose.

Oh look! Your copy and paste malfunctioned and you forget this part:
“We have no interest in selling Saido which is what I have told Daniel Levy."

Oops. Like I said....Maybe hes just not for sale.

It doesn't seem right that we have gone from having Modric and Parker to having Mason and Dier as our starting midfielders. We should still be able to attract players of the highest quality, not settling for second best every time.

We're Tottenham Hotspur, one of the biggest clubs in England and well known across the world. It's embarrassing when we don't have another striker to bring on or have to play a CB as a CDM. Something needs to change.
yes but we have a lovely state of the art training complex with fancy expresso machines.
so stop your moaning.

anyone would think a training pitch isnt anything to brag about & get excited over.

No "Oops". I also purposely didn't include the last line either, as it wasn't pertinent to the point that I was making, which is that they are leaving themselves an out. Levy also told other people that we weren't interested in selling Berbatov, Keane, Bale, or Modric.

You are correct, MAYBE he's just not for sale but I don't believe that if the right price came along.
