Why on earth is business being done in the last two weeks of the window, if we knew that Adebayor and Soldado would not be playing for us again?
Waiting for Mr right rather than jumping Mr right now

The Soldado admission was frankly ridiculous. Clearly Poch is not following party line by stating that in public, which makes me think he's not a happy camper...
Encouraging words from Poch....he definately wants to succeed. It will be very interesting to see how his approach changes should he get the players he wants.
One thing which really pleases me is that he knows we have to really improve and move forward.
Stark contrast to what his most ardent backers are saying, ironically.
After a potential 9 points have passed by? It's hardly a good plan is it? And to top it all off the position we need to fill is rather important & every man & his dog knows this which gives the selling club the upper hand.
If any other Premiership club with aspirations were in the same boat , we'd find this hilarious.

I think it's genuinely tragic you don't understand tongue in cheek ! Someone asked me why business had been left for the last two weeks like I'm supposed to know so I gave a witty response
48 minutes agoI still think we will have an excellent transfer window, we got rid of a lot of rubbish for decent prices and brought in some much needed defensive reinforcements we look nailed on to keep Lloris Kane & Erickssen. Levy made a point of saying that the rest of our business would be done in the last couple of weeks of the window after we signed Toby , the last couple of weeks arrive and we sign Njie and bid a lot for Berahino I'm not sure what people are complaining about at least wait for this window to conclude
#48I might have believed you if you hadnt said this....

I disagree I think that Berahino has a price tag and it hasn't been matched I don't think it bloats because Spurs need a striker.
I also think there are many clubs around Europe desperately trying to sign players until the last minute. Woolwich and Man U and even City probably need another striker still I don't worry to much and don't really think it's what's cost us thus far this season

Anyone with an ounce of common sense knows that is the truth but if he actually come out and said it it would be hissy fits galore amongst the fans
So if City or Utd come in for him, and are willing to pay 25M, our messing around since last winter (when Poch has confirmed we identified our targets) would have had no effect on the price being driven up?
The first time he was linked, in the January window, people were talking about 12M.
But it doesn't matter the price people are talking about does it son because all of that is bollocks what matters is the price Brom want. If City and Utd enter the fray then the price will rise with the demand because an auction can then be conducted but that's not the case. It's a case of West Bromwich not wanting to sell their best players unless a massive fee is agreed and has little to do with what we need Imo
