Will be interesting to see what kind of deal we've made for Lamela. Based on his fathers quotes he seems to have given up succeeding in the PL.
Right. I know nothing of Njie, but heard he was a striker. Son definitely plays upfront for Korea. And im sure Ades a striker. Im more confused thsn before, somewhere between 1 and 4. Still think we need a def mid
Don't play it. Rainieri wanted to sign Nampalys Mendy for Leicester as he rated him very highly when he was at Monaco.
Plays for Nice now. 23yrs. Very small but Only seen Mendy play once and he had lots of energy and tenacity. Seems like a Poch player.
Fofana for Lyon 24 yrs old. Not a bad defensive mid. I liked what I saw but have only seen a little more of him. 2 games. Gets forward and has a bit of pace and has a good shot.
Probably both in about £10 -12m range.

Nudge is more of an attacking mid and he played on the left. Very raw. Kind of like Townsend with a bit more skill and goalscoring ability. Sometimes a bit greedy and doesn't see the pass. However he has a lot of talent and I think that's what we got him for as he he can be coached and improve significantly. However, he's not an out and out striker.

Alderweireld was a great signing.
I've never seen Trippier play (aside from pre-season), so tbh all this "Trippier is better" talk just seems trendy to me. Walker is a huge talent that's been crippled by injuries in the past but is currently playing pretty well.
Think he's more of an outside forward. Seems like that's how he played in the Bundesliga, at least -- and I'm more inclined to believe club positioning over country, as more often than not country is literally just determined by talent more than whether or not someone actually fits the position they plan in. Cahill always played striker for Australia, but iirc he was always more of an AM/CM in the league?
It kills me when people say that. Given that service to Kane has been an issue it might not be a bad idea to play Trippier right now, but that doesn't mean that he's better than Walker. So many people fail to understand that certain people do better in certain systems. Right now Walker isn't doing remarkably well in this system, but there's no way I'll concede that Trippier is a better all around player.
