Stadium Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

So what was all this stuff and nonsense that wembley wasn't a viable venue for us due to the limit on the number of events that could be held there during each calender year ?

Ha. clever. I'll be straight with you. I might be wrong. And I can't afford to pay you £1000 if I am. However, I'm willing to make a £100 bet with you, for any name charity, that we won't be in a new stadium by the planned date of July 2018. In fact I'll go further. July 2019.
Nah mate, sorry, that's a mugs bet. I had an extension on my house that was a year over the build time so not for me. But my original bet stands, we will be in ours before them.

Anyone is keen on the idea of sharing Emirates with the scum?

1) Cheaper than Wembley.
2) Less problems for fans (logistics and commuting).
3) That delicious feeling when we beat them at their place twice per league season.

According to Sunday Supplement the issue is that Chavs need to move out for three years (possibly done in two) and we only want one year. The expectation is that the FA will go with Chavs for the longer term revenue. To be honest it makes financial sense and I'm pretty sure they would put clauses in the deal whereby early release would incur financial penalties.

Then surely it would be better for the FA to accommodate us for 1yr followed by the Chavs for three years giving the FA 4 consecutive years of income. As our plans are far more advanced than theirs I fail to see why this hasn't been mentioned. The only complication I see is, many building projects often over run and if we miss certain dates and not have a licence signed off for a stadium we might have to delay moving in for a further season and therefore delaying chavs.

Just have the contingency to move to MK if we over run in your scenario?

That's one option but in reality I don't see the chavs being ready to move out of SB for at least 4yrs-5yrs, they have a shit load of work to do before they can start to be guaranteeing dates themselves. At least we have started to build ours. There's is still at an artist impression stage.

Don't think I could bare seeing us play at The Emirates for our home games. Would rather play on Hackney marshes in all honesty.

I've been inside that place. All that fuckin red...
