This season, Wolfsburg have been horrible. Terribly inconsistent, knocked out of the German equivalent to the FA Cup, probably won't get any further than the Quarter Finals of the Champions League and as it stands based on form probably not even going to get European football next season. They're not one of the richest clubs in the world and if someone like Spurs were to come in for Draxler, fresh off a successful season domestically and perhaps even in Europe, with hopefully CL football to offer, I think we could get him.

Well you've got me on board, then.

I think it's a blessing that we didn't sign a striker in January. If we do (looking ever more likely) get CL football or even win the league then we'll be able to attract a higher calibure of player.

Berahino is good, he has potential. But we could be able to attract bigger names who will help us now and in the future. I'd love to think we'd be able to sign players like Dybala, Higuain or Gundogan but it all depends on the funds available.

Dybala is even less likely than Griezmann, he's already at Juve and is destined for Barcelona in his next move to follow Messis footsteps, Higuain would be amazing but he's getting on a bit now isn't he? Even so, price tag will be reaching the £50-60million mark which as someone said above, probably won't be available with the stadium but gundogan could be a great shout but who would you dislodge from our midfield without losing all remaining width we have? Alli has been a revelation and is a future England star and Dembele has been one of our better players this season, dominates the pitch.

That's the thing Poch and co need to look at this summer. Alli, Dier and Dembele have been fantastic this season, probably the best midfielders in the league along with some others. But where we're going to be playing in the CL and hopefully challenging for the league again were gonna need players who can step in and be just as good.

I like Tom Carroll and Mason but if it came to a point where they were our CM's for a stretch of games then I'd be worried.

I think come the summer, the only positions we need to be looking at getting cover for are striker and centre mid.. Maybe a centre half as well.

Lloris/Vorm
Walker/Trippier
Rose/Davies
Alderwiereld/Vertonghen/Wimmer/?

Dembele/Dier/Mason/Carroll/Bentaleb.. Could do with more depth, a player who is a natural fit who can play every week.

Eriksen/Son/Lamela/Alli/Chadli

Kane/?

We have a strong squad, one of the strongest in the league. A couple of additions and we could be a major force.

Spurs are in race with Atletico Madrid for £24m Belgian wonderkid Youri Tielemans

Spurs have been tracking the 18-year-old Anderlecht prodigy all season and hadbeen planning a £15m offer in the summer.

The Premier League club had already made their interest known to Anderlecht, but they have been left reeling after Atletico moved quickly to enter negotiations over a deal at the end of the season.

Anderlecht value Tielemans at £24m, and the La Liga club have shown a willingness to match that value — leaving Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy having to decide whether to enter a bidding war.

Tielemans is regarded as the brightest young talent in Belgium after maing his Champions League debut at the age of 16.

He had already been highlighted by the Spurs scouts before he impressed during two Europa League matches between the clubs earlier this season.

Boss Mauricio Pohettino is a huge fan and believes he would fit in well to the emerging young squad at White Hart Lane.

Spurs and Atletico are ahead of a host of European clubs who have been watching the midfielder — with more than 20 scouts due to attend today’s Europa Leage game between Anderlecht and Olympiakos.

Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool have all registered for passes for the match, along with the AC Milan, Inter and Juventus.

He absolutely embarrassed Eric Dier in the EL game in Belgium. Would fit the bill.

i would love for this to happen

To be fair, they were in the Champions League, competing near the top of the table and coming off the back of a very successful season by winning the German equivalent of the FA Cup, doing very well in the Bundesliga, all mostly down to de Bruyne so he was pretty much one of their most important players.

This season, Wolfsburg have been horrible. Brilliant player. Pretty sure he's be off to Juve or Bayern Munich when he leaves Wolfsburg though, even if we could make him a good offer.

Thielemans would be so great. He has so much talent, but I never thought, that it would happen and we go for him! So although he's not the desperate needed backup for Kane or Dier, I would really be very excited, if we can get him! A Thielemans + Alli partnership could be a force in the future!
