Would love to see us go after Kingsley Coman, looks like such an amazing talent. Already played for Bayern, PSG and Juventus.. Maybe out of our league, but you never know.

I read somewhere that Bale has played only 63% of games since his move. He is injury prone. A hair out of place is a 2 week sidelining (joking...or am I?)

He is a great player, no doubt, but his price tag & wage demands would be obscene & his injury record isn't at all good.

It's nice to dream but I don't think he's coming back & I don't think he's at the same level of brilliance that he was when he left. All in all, there are more realistic & cheaper options.

Poch and his staff seems to do a good job keeping them pesky injuries at bay. Maybe he wouldn't be injured as often with us.

Yes, there are cheaper and more realistic options.

But if we want to improve...

I think people are overlooking something important, if bale was to come back on let's say a modest 200k per week, how long will it take the likes of lloris and bale to be asking for the same?

No doubt we could afford bale if we really wanted him but no chance we could up every other stars salary by 50k to keep them all happy, so it really is pointless going on about it all the time

You don't think the lads would understand a galactico joining us would earn a bit more than them? Do you think every decent first team player in United demands to earn the same as Rooney?

They are footballers. They understands that the big stars earn the more money. Hell, even Adebayor earned more than Lloris without the latter going on strike.

And if we are to consistently be in the top four and play CL, our players will be expecting to earn at least close to what players in other top four earns.

200 for Bale shouldn't be a problem, if that's what we are going for.

Whether Newcastle go down or not if still like us to look at Perez. Watched him on Monday, his movement is brilliant, as is his link up play and passing is decent. McClaren never really started him, depending on whether Benitez stays could be the difference.

Berahino has looked alright in the last few WBA games and he's destined to leave.

Aduriz, Lacazette or Batshuayi (granted he's just signed a contact but that means fuck all these days) are all options and have all scored 15+ goals this season for the respective clubs.

You know what, at the end of the day, it's alright us bringing up players who we may like to join us, especially someone like Bale. But Poch and the scouting team know who they are looking for. Just look at Wimmer as one example. He knew he would of fitted our system perfectly. And I guarantee there were a lot of us thinking, 'Who's this guy?'. But first and foremost, they need to fit the system, they need to have energy, they need to have determination, they need to understand how to press, they need to be accomplished on the ball and also need to be young.

I sound like I'm shooting down some of your opinions, I'm not of course, but I'm looking at it realistically and in some ways there is no point even guessing who we would be going for unless it fits the ideology and philosophy that our club now has.

But looking at some of the names being brought up, The Dane The Dane had a good shout with Volland, as it seems like the one which would be perfect, but only Poch and Mitchell will have an idea.

So yeah, that's my opinion on things, I know I'm boring...
