We're not going to win the next 7 games. We're going to draw at least 1, possibly lose 1. It's possible we do win all 7 games, but it's not very likely.

Therefore for us to cross the 5 point gap + make up for dropped points, we'd need Leicester to lose 2 and draw 1 (Totalling 8 points dropped....gives us enough space for the 5 point gap and we can afford to lose 1 game). This puts us on level terms and means we scrape by through GD. This is probably the bear minimum we need to win the title, and seems unlikely considering Leicester have lost 3 times in 31 games.

This is why I say they've 99% won it. They lost once every 10 games throughout the season. We now expect them to lose twice in 7 games. It's almost impossible, but as Poch says, "This is futbol".

It's a bonus that we will now have Dier available for the remaining games in full, providing no injuries or red cards. He is pivotal to how we play. Him slotting into a back three when the fullbacks assist in the attack is the reason why we've got the best defence this season. Last year we'd of been caught out but this year he adds that cover to let us attack, and having the full backs attack gives us that extra width, allowing more bodies to get into the box.

He's sweeps up most balls and stops attacks along with Dembele. Stick him on Coutinho at Anfield and we'll stop Liverpool playing. Same as Oscar or Hazard at Chelsea. Dembele and Dier, for me, have been the best midfield partnership this season along with Kante and Drinkwater.

The team no other team will want to face for the remaining games this season is Tottenham. We've hit form at the right point, and Kane has hit a purple streak at the perfect time.. Every defender will be scared of him. I hear Cahill is still having nightmares from last season's 5-3.

I want this season to end so we know where we end up and can go on a better it next year, but I also want it to continue as I've never had this much enjoyment from a Spurs team in my 25 years (26 on 30th March, put it in your diaries? Of supporting Tottenham.

You can't say we're not going to win our last 7 games, and then say they're not going to lose 2. How do you fucking know? It's just bollocks - as usual.

At the end of the day. Yes, we have been the best team in terms of most goals, least conceded, possession and probably style but Leicester are the ones who have won more games then ANYONE in the league and lost the LEAST amount of games. They have been the better team after 31 games.

7 games left though and ANYTHING can happen as we've seen. I mean Spurs being in this position with a +32 goal difference and the best defence this season should tell you that!

The optimist (or perhaps realist) in me says that form and momentum are on our side. Leicester are grinding out results at the moment. With the exception of the Dortmund distraction we're dominating games.

I think we'll win the league on goal difference. We are the better side

Grinding out results is the 'Hallmark of Champions' though as cliche as it all sounds. They're well organised defensively and they're confident of a cleansheet to win them games. That's why I said that it'll be interesting how they react if they go a goal down as they always tend to get the first goal.

Don't know about you guys, but I really doubt he'll avoid a booking in those fixtures.

Not true. The hallmark of champions is playing great football and dominating teams. AND then, in a minority of matches, when you're having an offday and are unable to play that football, grinding out results anyway.

Leicester have been grinding out results for the vast majority of their matches, not on the odd offday!

Chelsea won the league last season in the same vein Leicester are winning now. By keeping cleansheets and being solid. Grinding out wins is something Fergusons Man Utd were masters at. At the end of the day, Leicester have won more games than us and lost less than us. At the moment, they deserve it.

The FA Website states it's 'the second Sunday in April'. So I'm assuming that's April 10th, the same day as our United match.

Now, that date is said to be 'inclusive' of the day itself, so I'm actually not sure if the United match would count as being before or after the cut off.

Edit: bollocks, looks like the United match would count. They use 31st December as another example of a cut-off date, and we know that means the slate is wiped clean on January 1st...

Even if it was as recent as last season, you can't just choose one season as a comparison. What Chelsea did last isn't the standard, by Fergie's Man U or others. But even those cunt chavs had more points, more goals, a better GD than Leicester and controlled matches with the ball, where Leicester tries to do so without it.

They deserve respect for coming such a huge way from the standard, they came from last season and the seasons previous and their great attitude. But worthy champions they'll never be in my mind.

The way some of you are talking we might as well give up now and just roll out the lilywhite flag.

If we win and Leicester draw in two week's time. The gap would be down to 2pts. If they hit a run of draws which isn't unfeaseable. We just have to concentrate on our game. There are 7 games left, team's with equal or more points have lost it with a handful of games to go. At the end of the day we cannot correctly predict every result. We have a good chance if we just keep on playing our game and winning.

I think what

Joe Clash means, and I agree with him, is that trying to predict the outcome of what is essentially 14 different games of football is crazy at this point

With all predictions the variables and time involved are important. So Tottenham playing Bournemouth on a Sunday, yeah you can make a decent fist of predicting an outcome. But predicting how everything will turn out is still a bit crazy

Its like having a 2yr old and saying they will do Biology at University, wait and see how the A levels go first then you can make a decent prediction.

Sadly everyone kills themselves with the hope and putting out there predictions of what they think will happen in next 2 months, nobody knows.
