Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Great stat in the paper this morning: in the past five years, eight out of 10 top-two Premier League teams have dropped five points or more in the last four games of the season.

:pochserious2:

Spurs fans would be no different if it was the other way around - so just accept and move on. That's football.

If we don't win the league, you are better off looking at many of the games we could and should have won if your want to point that big finger of yours.

Honestly.

Spoken just like the new age modern day fan..

I bet if you went to games you'd take a selfie stick or spend all game taking pictures on your iPad.

If a team had to beat us to deny West Ham winning the league then I can guarantee you I would not run around get a stiffy saying I hope we lose..
I believe my club deserves better support than that..

At the final whistle I might not be pissed off if we lost but I would never cheer a team that was playing against us on our own ground.. That mentality staggers me..

Can't think of many Chav players that are international buddies with our lot? (Courtois? maybe although he shagged KdB's missus) This is no El Tel and Raincoat man best friend situation. There are enough Chav players that have a proper dislike of us. Most of them will be dreaming of their next big move to give a toss about their own tinpot club. As for it being Terry's last game, he's being fucked off by the club so he will feel like he owes them nothing anyway.

I have a Chav supporting acquaintance who was laughing about Fibreglass not giving 100% against Leicester.
Who knows whats going to happen. its going to be a very long week-month until all this ends. We have no control what happens other than supporting the team with positive vibes and lots of noise. I personally feel positive with the run in and expect a few unexpected situations presenting themselves, as this weekend. i feel we are all getting beyond ourselves and looking for reason why and if before it happens. lets play WBA and see where we are then

If Spurs win all their 4 games, and the way we are playing this is realistically achievable, the Foxes have to win 3 out of 4 with an arguably more difficult run in and no Vardy for at least half those games.

It CAN happen.

Or win two and draw two.

I appreciate your optimism, but at the end of the day they can afford to lose one game, and we can't (unless they lose two!).

I knew West Ham would be difficult for them so its no surprise they dropped points. The Vardy suspension is an unexpected bonus. But their late equaliser makes me think that the jammy twats are gonna do it.

I dont think its over. But we really need them to screw up pretty badly.

Where is the Ju Ju when you need it?

Non of this nonsense .We are playing well and that will get us through.

Psychologically I think it's good that they have an "easy" game next. If they had Man Utd next they might think "it's okay we can lose or draw this one and bounce back" but as it is, the pressure is really on them to beat Swansea, knowing they also have a tough game the week after.

Couldn't agree more, I've been banging on about the same thing for a while..

Like I said before, if it isn't in our hands with one game to go we can forget it..Even their players have said they don't want Spurs to win it.. They will roll over like one of them stupid dancing dogs on Britains got talent.
The only crumbs of comfort are:
1. If this does happen, hopefully it's done in a blatant way so the whole country, wait fuck that the whole world, can see what cunts they are.
2. If we have already lost the league by then, at least they won't have the pleasure of making us lose it.
3. If we can still mathematically win the league on the last day, it will be a good party on the train up to Newcastle
4. It might yet be in our own hands on the last day.

I remember that horrible situation in the 90s when we had Man u at Old Trafford. They had to win to stop the Gooners winning the league. I watched that game in a fairly quiet Wood green pub and shouted "C'mon you Spurs" when the game Kicked off.The fella at the bar next me said "you a gooner then?". I went into this rehearsed(in my head) rant/tirade about how I don't give a flying f**k what that mob up the road do,i am Spurs and always want us to play to win.If we do and lose and the scum don't win the title, thats just an added bonus in this instance". The bloke said, i'm Spurs as well and feel exactly the same.....What a waste of a good rant.

I was at that game. One of the most bizarre Spurs games I've ever been to. Half our support didn't cheer when Ferdinand scored the opener. I did; same reasons as you. Someone taped MOTD for me and I remember clearly Woolwich fans singing "come on you Spurs" after they found out we scored.

Thank God i'm not going mad.. I started to believe that we were adopting the same mentality as Chelsea. i've always been proud that we are proper fans and not like them or Woolwich who have no morals or shame. We are proper fans and to suggest we would cheer on the opposition at WHL makes me feel nauseous.

I was there as well. I do remember everyone going mental when Ferdinand scored but then quite quickly realising what that might mean and we all started cheering "Come on Villa!", who were playing the filth.

The Chavs wont roll over for LC. I'm pretty sure of that. I think they will manage a draw which would be a decent result for them against one of the top clubs. They've been bloody shocking this season, but JT won't want to lose his last game at the club. Not to mention it would make them the laughing stock of world football. Universally despised as the team that conspired to cheat with Leicester.

Finally, they will surely want to take "their" title back from "us" next season. Far more satisfying than taking it back from Leicester City? Whilst having some level of bragging rights that "we" only won it because of "their" help.

Chelsea have also started playing some younger players recently, who with their record of promoting from within 100% have to impress at every opportunity regardless of the opposition / situation.

Seems lots of you are on about conspiracy theories even before the game has been played. I thought I was bad and nervous but some of you are crying foul even before a ball has been kicked. Does this mean no matter we beat Chelsea you will all cry 'fix' lol.

Banter asise and on a serious note we are celebrating top 3 guaranteed now and a place in the CL group stage proper rather than the play offs. No doubt you will achieve the same so well done. This now makes it a race for the title in my eyes. Newcastle playing well last night also keeps them in the hunt for survival. I guess you will all be cheering Norwich and Sunderland over the next 3 games.

Like I have always said the best team will win in the end whoever that is.

Interested stat from one or yours on the other page saying 8 of 10 teams have dropped at least 5 points with 4 games to go. Does this mean 8 out of 10 prior champions have bottled it?

The Spurs fan who said Spurs bottled it against Hammers when they beat you I think is incorrect. You can't say any defeat is a bottle otherwise that means there are up to 10 bottlers each week (barring draws) in the Premier League.

I know most are on about the Manu game and your Chelsea game but the most important for both of us is this weekend. Each game is as vital as the other. Swansea can beat anyone on their day and WBA can hold anyone to a draw on their day. Although, I feel you will have too much for them. When we drew 2 2 the other week with them we missed chance after chance so you will finish your chances. Our game against Swansea is tough without a best forward but if we are to be champions we need to be strong enough to win, if we don't then we don't deserve the title. If we both win then it makes it very interesting going into the next one as you could get back to 2 points or we could win the title that weekend if we win and Chelsea beat you. I am sure their lot would be up for taking the title away from you - not by cheating like you suggest but by being up for a local derby.
