Hodjberg, Deeney and Maitland Niles would be hailed as a fantastic window by some.

Nope. Wouldn't make it a fantastic window though, just an interesting one with the potential to be good.

That said, some on here would consider a transfer window of anything less than Mbappe, Bale, Sancho, Coutinho and Varane a complete failure....

Might not be his first choice but like Poch he is fully aware of the budget, fully aware of our policy, fully aware of our target group, fully aware of our wage structure, fully aware we can’t compete with City etc for certain players, fully agrees to any signing and was fully aware of all of the above when he signed a contract and agreed to work under those specific limitations.

But we can all sit here.......yet AGAIN.....and think we are going to have that dream window where we sign..........Max Aarons and Zaha

If we could get him fairly cheap he'd be one of the best back ups we could get for Kane though. He had a bad year, but he's a proven scorer in the league, homegrown (something we desperately need), good character and experienced. Quicker than Kane too, so offers something slightly different and would probably be ok with a back up role.

Also on Castagne pretty sure he plays as a RM not even a WB , Its more of a midfield role.
I really don't see him working in a back 4 and I've really seen nothing special from him , saying that anything is better than Aurier.

FYI, Atalanta play with 2 wing backs, with Castagne able to play both LWB and RWB. Atalanta are 2nd in Italian League with the 2 WB's generally causing the opposition a lot of trouble so WB's can't be bad.
