The only thing that I can remember that was maybe ill advised was people chanting "you used to sing down there" to the Park lane. It was technically no worse than singing "Paxton give us a song" but it rubbed peoples backs up so it wasn't good.
I'm assuming that you are referring to last seasons league cup tie against Hull.
I got the complete opposite in terms of reaction.
What initially was confined to Block J,soon expanded to pretty much all of the Park Lane and Block H in terms of a "sing off". Surely that is the whole point.
I didn't witness anyone getting rubbed up the wrong way or get annoyed by it.
Obviously I couldn't hear individual comments coming from Park Lane, but I think the general consensus from the East Upper that night was positive.
