Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

All fingers and thumbs on the zeitgeist.
So 18 games left.
What can we achieve this season.

Top 4? Top 3? 2nd?

Matches to play based on table positions this morning.

Top 10 - 8 matches (played Burnley twice already)
6 home 2 away.

Lower 10 - 10 matches to play
7 away 3 home

Current Bottom 5 - we have 4 away games out of 5.

So if we can get our away form right against the lower placed teams then 3rd place is in sight.
But if we can also beat the teams around us at home 2nd is a real possibility.

2018. Game on.

Can’t find it, but before the season I had:

1 City
2 Spurs
3 Chelsea
4 United
5 Woolwich
6 Liverpool

Now I am thinking United and Woolwich will finish 5/6. City then Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool in some order seems likely. Not sure who United will bring in to fix the multitude of problems they have, and Woolwich is going to fall off a cliff with their expiring contracts.

We've been very stop/start so far this season, but when you look at that you do realise we've had a much tougher first 19 than our 2nd 19.

Win the next 2, which we should and I think we are in the driving seat for top 3.

We've had a pretty unbalanced fixture list so far so it looks like it'll be easier second half of the season.
We've also bedded in at home, it was always going to take us a while to get used to Wembley but I think we are comfortable enough now. We also have key players coming back from injury. Hopefully our rivals will have injuries to endure like we have had to even things out a bit more.

We could finish anywhere between 2nd and 6th but I'd be very surprised if we finished outside the top four really, but could be quite close.

We can finish anywhere between 2nd and 4th.....2nd if that was our only blip of the season behind us, or a battle for 4th if we keep falling off the rails.

We are the second best team in the PL, and Pool, Utd and Woolwich IMO are all massively flawed.

Chelsea are capable, but will simply stop playing for Conte towards the end of the season when he's having his secret meetings with other clubs

I haven't given up the league yet. City could lose at home to Watford with a day's less rest, then lose away to Liverpool, and the gaps down to 13 with a home game against them to come. In a battle for top 4 we more often than not come up short, but in a battle for the title we always qualify for the CL, with games to spare. We don't want it going to the last game because we've seen that film many times and know how it ends.

I feel pretty confident in top 4. Hopefully our guys can get and stay healthy and less fixtures bodes better for us. No idea how things will shake out however.

2nd is still in play for us and I'd consider Chelsea the other favorite for that atm, because they've been the most stable behind City at this point in the season.

I don't see Woolwich sticking with the group in the top 6. They've had weird form, spawny results in their favour (not yesterday) and someone like Sanchez leaving could ruin them. We'll see if Man U can cope after this stretch. Advanced stats have kind of shed a light that this run of poor form coming sooner or later, but it could just be a bad stretch like we had. If Coutinho stays at Liverpool they are probably right there for the top 4, I feel safe including them in 4th at least.

If City get a point a game from now on even that would be stretch for us to overtake.

with a decent run we can get to 2nd, which would be a really good achievement with playing every match away from WHL

I'm happy with top 4, and making the CL final. TBH after the group stage draw was announced i would have been happy just surviving and advancing maybe another round or two, but winning the group (while advancing with more points than anyone else) left me wanting more.

Liverpool worry me, have potential to have a great run and end up 2nd, or a shit run and end up 6th, so unpredictable!

18 17 games 'left' sounds like the Mother of all 'run-ins'!!
It's not even Feb yet

We are hitting out stride as we have tended to do under Pochettino at the second half stage.

Players coming back from injury in Lamela and Wanyama with Alderweireld still to return. We've proven to be more consistent then Liverpool and Man Utd over the past few years so they don't particularly worry me and I feel we are better then Chelsea.

With Kane, I feel anything is possible and I still maintain belief that we'll get second.
