Competition 32 Team FIFA Club World Cup coming to USA in 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Yeah, when I said that I was referring to the last 25 minutes first 10 minutes of the second half (ish). from that point from the time RM scored their second (20min) Dortmund had about 65-70% of the ball and RM just went into their shell. Last 30 Dortmund just wilted, until the final few minutes chaos.
I fell asleep for the last 20 minutes then woke up when the game finished :D

Had a Saturday roast beef dinner and got the itis.

Be interested to see Real this year.

Ancelotti was Mr Vibes manager as Bellingham called it ‘off the cuff’, putting the galacticos all in one side. Alonso is going to demand hard running, pressing, more structures attacking play.

Seems like the big egos could get dropped if they don’t perform for Alonso. My guess is Real will end up a far better team.

You would think Mbappe would suffer more than Vinicius under this ethos.

Sh!t fcuking tournament,

Injuries can and always do happen, but this crock of watchless garbage is another stain on an already overloaded football landscape.

Everything can kill itself and when you now have too much of sub-standard crap, it can believe its own hype to its detriment.

Don’t think I can disagree more.

Tournament has been of a very high standard, with many highly enjoyable matches, and is here to stay, and quite possibly expanded to 48 teams for next version as more clubs will want to be in it, including ours

Bro - Injuries happen...I'm a Bayern fan & it's part of the game.

Also you really need start spell checking or installing something like Grammaly...

Don't know how you draw that conclusion considering television viewing figures have been poor and attendances are so bad they're practically giving the tickets away. Unless they have an ironclad lucrative deal with major broadcasters to support this tournament for a number of years this will die within a season or two, there's no way they can pull the obscene amount of prize money touted to be given away from a magical hole in the ground with no means to replace it and the money is the only reason so many worse off clubs want to be in it at all, there's no prestige to it.

Or maybe this tweet is bullshit?

Vini has been off his game for the whole of last season, Mbappé hasn't really been the best at RM not just cos he keeps shitting his pants on & off the field but you have both Vini, Rodrygo & Mbappé having similar playstyles. Arda Güler in my opinion has had a better season & he's really shone in the CWC & I'm also a fan of Endrick but he's injured.

With bot Endrick & Mbappé out Gonzalo García has been very good I think he's scored in each game he's appeared in.

They've become heavily weakened in the midfield of late due to Kroos leaving & Modrić getting close to retirement.

People keep saying oh why has soo many 'stars' been benched but you can tell that Alonso is finding his best style of play to utilise the players he has.

Real Madrid, I'm not a fan but I follow them closely as I'm a Barça fan, are a VERY interesting watch in this competition.

Eh
The viewing figures have been very high globally.
The viewing has mainly been my streaming as DAZN bought the global rights.
The quality of football has been very high.
There are numerous countries lined up wanting to host the next version in 2029. (Brazil Spain Portugal USA again etc)
The tournament will generate a very large profit for FIFA, on top of the massive prize money for the clubs.
Attendances have been pretty decent on the whole, a lot of matches with crowds greater than 60k, for a CLUB tourney, which by definition will always have less amount of fans than for a national tourney. (There are a lot less Tottenham fans than there are England fans, and likewise replicated across almost all teams) that has been going on at same time as concacaf Nations Cup in the country.

The only real issues have been weather related, which is a concern ahead of next years World Cup.

Like it or not, sticking with preconceived ideas to diss tourney are all people have, which haven’t turned to be the reality at all.
This is a roaring success as far as FIFA and involved clubs, and viewers from outside a few areas of Europe are concerned.

Play the best team not the best players. Alonso I think will be great for Real.

It’s an issue the English national team has had for decades trying to shove in stars at the expense of team unity and system.

FIFA will plow as much money into this as they can to try to make it a success & they have VERY deep pockets but I agree with you at the moment there's fukk all prestige as it's a new comp much like Woolwich Fans bitch about our Europa League win & Chelsea's Conference League win.

Tournament has been of a very high standard, with many highly enjoyable matches, and is here to stay, and quite possibly expanded to 48 teams for next version as more clubs will want to be in it, including ours

It has been at a high standard but honestly they way to get into this comp is mind boggling & I still don't know how they do it - they talk about coefficients & the amount of years it's almost like they built an AI (I actually think they did as MY AI pulled similar teams) then just added Messi's team cos it's Messi :D The thing is, expanding it will make it longer & I know FIFA would love to but it'll be difficult.

Apologies for any spelling mistakes. I tend to write quickly and then edit any errors.

Believe it ir not but my spelling has never been an issue, is all I will add on that observation, much as I understand your reasoning.

The tournament is sh!t and unnecessary. Yes, injuries happen..

Exactly this whole 'Galaticos' thing never worked & never will.

Agreed with our National team, Tuchel seems to be a no bullshit kinda guy so hopefully he'll figure it out!

I wouldn't call it shit - I've been watching all the games & have been enjoying it.

Unnecessary? FIFA would say otherwise but it's ok if you think so :)
