Pochettino's work (IN THE EPL) at Soton was admired by many for a number of reason, that have already been stated. Many of those admires stood on the terraces and drank in the pubs in and around WHL, other parts of the country too. He got these accolades, done this, arguably with and inferior squad of players to that at The Lane.
So convinced am I that Pochettino was the right appointment over a De Boer and alike because of his (limited granted) EPL experience, that I predict it will see us finish above Utd and LVG this season. And with style!
But its a jigsaw. And we on the terraces have our piece to add!
COYS!!
Some would say, I,m crazy for predicting such, now that LVG is at the helm. But this is why I have made such a bold (all tongue in check phrasing) prediction! To emphasis the importance (for me) for Spurs, after last seasonsMany told me I was crazy last summer for predicting we'd finish above Man U, and as a result I won a fair share of bets, so as a result I'd be crazy to tell you you're crazy for guessing the same next year!

debacle, to do all they could with the new appointment, to make sure a minimal "transition" period was a priority! And (again for me) a manager who has never had experience of The EPL, would not have done this!
Not only has this been achieved, but with genuine (football philosophy wise) quality in appointing Pochettino.
COYS!!
I think a lot of our players are going to get a huge wake up under Poch. I expect to see a few bite the dust.He does indeed have Prem experience and his tactics aren't particularly far off from AVB's, but I think a transition period is unfortunately inevitable, regardless if we've fortunately put the pieces in place to cut that amount of time down. Poch is going to instill yet novel and challenging tactics to the players, and also bring in a few players he wants to best utilize his system, therefore it's only inevitable that it will take some time. My hope though, is to see significant progress even as of Xmas that the players are at least buying in and that it's clicking. If the board backs Pochettino should he need in January, then I think we could be in for a solid season despite the transition.
But cheers, on and up and COYS! Let's get it the fuck did!

He's just not going to put up with that 'oh, I'll just pick the games I'll play in schtick'. Too true.I think so. Could rattle off five heavily-involved first team names right off the bat who I don't think will survive in Poch's system at all (and one of them isn't Rose).

He has a 5 year contract at a great club, that's the promise. He hasn't done a thing yet, but I sense a unifying of support. He wasn't first choice with the majority of our fans, but everyone seems to be getting behind the guy. I agree with Sammy - I haven't looked forward to our next match for so long. For sure. Given the work rate of Schneiderlin and Wanyama (when he was healthy), our CM's are gonna have to bust it in every single game if they want to keep their places. It's for this reason why I'd like to see Poch promised time, as I think him punishing quality players who don't give it their all by cutting back on minutes will only work for the best in the long run. His style is very demanding of effort, so if they're not giving it all I'd rather a kid have a run about if he'll do the work.
The idea of an interim manager is under-appreciated, imo. Just someone to absorb a lot of the negative sentiment, so that everyone is desperate for that "reset button" to come along. There will always be negative nancies, but I think most people are ready to get behind a permanent appointee, now. There were far too many people biding their time in the shadows sharpening their knives waiting for AVB to stumble, and then Tim inherited a club a hair's breadth from a full-on meltdown. He has a 5 year contract at a great club, that's the promise. I want to believe that most people are ready to move on, now. We've got a summer layoff now for everyone to unwind and relax, with our expectations for next season dampened after the disappointment that was 2013/14, so perhaps there won't be so many people out for blood. If Pooch can deliver some attractive football then that should buy him some considerable lee-way, and he's got an entire off-season to plan for it.

Really? I'm quite drunk at the moment....Word, and beautifully written. When "like" or "agree" just doesn't suffice.
I'm curious, who do you think will tuck tail and jump ship?I think so. Could rattle off five heavily-involved first team names right off the bat who I don't think will survive in Poch's system at all (and one of them isn't Rose).

Been working like mad recently. Worked all weekend, then I've been pulling almost 12 hour shifts all day this week in physical labor. Didn't take much to drink tonight to put me cross-eyed. Back at it tomorrow, in the hopes that this project is the one that really puts our company on the map.
It really does look quite extraordinary. It's nice to see your hard work look justified by the final product.
Rofl, I'll be conducting an install at a Hilton Hotel, managed by the largest General Contractor in the state of Virginia. I'm sure that would go over well.Cheers dude, hope it works out for you. Judging by your prose and presentation of that post though, might I suggest drinking at the worksite?![]()

Actually, it's a product that many Brits on this site would likely be familiar with, but is quite rare here in the US, still. The hope is that we've caught the market while it's still very immature, and that we can carve out a nice stake of the business here in the states.
