Its his position that confuses me like Siggy. Neither are real wingers as they are not mobile/quick enough, they don't dominte the centre so are not CM's, perhaps number 10's or free players in a 4-3-3 type formation?
I think so. Against Benfica he did the damage playing in the space in from the LW. Scored one for Belgium the other day from a very similar area.
I think if we had a narrow 3 attackers behind a striker he could work really well on the left of them.
What is good about the way Southampton were set up is that the 3 + 1 were very fluid and interchangeable, so if we go the same way he would have freedom to move centrally or more forward as it suited
