I think so. Against Benfica he did the damage playing in the space in from the LW. Scored one for Belgium the other day from a very similar area.

I think if we had a narrow 3 attackers behind a striker he could work really well on the left of them.

What is good about the way Southampton were set up is that the 3 + 1 were very fluid and interchangeable, so if we go the same way he would have freedom to move centrally or more forward as it suited

Well he is a weird one as he is obviously highly thought of, even amongst a very talented Belgium team he gets regular game time for them. He has heaps going for him, I think he will start shining as he gets game time with the same players regularly as feeds off their play

Yeh we seem to have a lot of these hybrid midfielders at the club the likes of which Woolwich love (Eriksen, Siggy, Holtby, Chadli, Lamela and so on) that don't really fit a traditional 4-4-2 as they neither wingers nor CM's but I feel would prosper in a more flexible system.

Another reason why I was for either FDB or Poch, the systems they use might best fit our sqaud as it is.
