He wasn't at his best but still dangerous. Even when his delivery is off he's a menace because you can never shut down that kind of pace, strength and dribbling, it's basically impossible unless you double up, and even then he will often find a way.

Where Wolves went wrong, imo, is expecting him to be a more modern forward. He's a down the touchline winger or wing back. Barcelona have him in a fitting role where he's asked to be direct and do the stuff he thrives at. 2 assists in 2 La Liga games, and won the penalty vs Napoli. He makes things happen.

Maybe but he was emphatically not what we needed in the grand scheme of things.

3 assists in 3 games. He would have been fantastic for us. It was clear as day to those who watch football with their eyes, rather than barking stats every 5 minutes.

I wanted to bring him in but you have to remember 2 things:

He's playing as a winger as opposed to a wing back where we were gonna play him
He's playing in La Liga

Yup - quality player who would have improved us massively

Another ruined transfer like Grealish due to the bald cunt arguing over 50p for six months

Think he needed a change from Wolves.
He played brilliantly for Barcelona, it's only a loan and Spurs still have a chance to get him if Barcelona don't trigger the option to buy.
Conte wanted him, don't now why the deal didn't go through?

Should have got him in last summer. Just like Diaz's dad said, "Tottenham dithered too much and that allowed Liverpool to come in late"

Or that once everything had been agreed with both the club and the player his agent leaked the details of the deal to Liverpool.

We could have agreed the deal with Diaz on January 1st and the same thing would of happened.

You don't know that. You are guessing.
What am I guessing ?

That all terms were agreed with Diaz and his club ?

That his agent leaked the details to Liverpool ?

Or that if we'd agreed terms on January 1st he'd still have gone to Liverpool ?

"Tottenham had signed paperwork over a €45m plus €15m deal with Porto. In the end, though, it was Liverpool who took him for reportedly the same figures."

But sure it's all guesswork on my part.
