Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Not his biggest fan, but now that he's here until June at least - why not try and make use of him? Throw him on the bench at least - look at some of the names last night, ffs. He could grab us a late goal, who knows. Plus it would keep his stock decent for the potential summer sale

One for Poch to review urgently, imv
I agree that he has the potential to help out, but last time Poch tried playing him he got a half arsed performance as thanks. I'm sure he'll get another chance if he trains well, but I understand why his comeback was short lived.

Jennings might be a respected legend, but what he did was cuntish behaviour of the highest order. He'd be more if a Spurs legend if he wasnt also an Woolwich player.
End of.
Worth having a listen to the 2013 Christmas Special Spurs Show podcast ( search Spurs Show Live on iTunes & select the episode "where's Gilly" ) Jennings was also a guest. He tells the whole story of his departure. And he 100% never wanted to leave. The club treated him shamefully !

Was a good show. Think it was 2014 though?

LOL....just watched the video.

Maybe all the people who are acting like Jennings would have ended up in Cardboard City had he not joined the Scum missed the part where they said Man U, Villa and Ipswich wanted him.....but he chose the gooners.

He did it to piss off the club. Sorry, but that meant a slap to all those fans at the time, who idolised him and had fuck all to do with the board.

And as for the Ade comparisons...yeah, I'll defend him all day long. He LEFT the Scum, and joined us.

Pat Jennings LEFT us, and joined the Scum.......slight difference if you are a Spurs fan.

Woolwich might have offered the biggest salary but he definitely wasn't forced to sign for Woolwich.

He had options...one was Man U....he chose Woolwich.

Nuff said

At no point did Tottenham want to keep him. At no point did Jennings lie about anything. At no stage were we mugged off by Jennings....so it's not comparing Apples with Apples.

Errrr....Jennings chose Woolwich. Chose. Over Utd, Villa and Ipswich.

The club might have been cunts. But....Pat Jennings chose to play for Woolwich when he didnt have to. He stayed there for 8 years too. Thats a long "statement" he was making...

No, maybe he could have dragged his family halfway across England so he could have a job, then retired before he had to because earning a living isn't as important as keeping you old employers' fans happy.

It's a nonsense argument really. If he wasn't widely regarded as a legend, the club would not employ him to do the "legends guided tour" because nobody would turn up. Can you imagine the popularity of a guided tour by Judas, for example? The club simply wouldn't do it on safety grounds alone! & if he did it (in a suit of armour of course), nobody would turn up. The club wrongly turned their back on Jennings & he went on to be successful somewhere else that didn't mean uprooting his family & pulling them from pillar to post across England. He earned a wage to bring home to his family & still does, giving them a stable & settled life. His love for Spurs is clear. Why is he not doing the Woolwich legends tours if he liked them so much?

Yeah....so....exactly like I said, he chose the gooner scum, when he had other offers.

I love the way you word it......"dragged his family halfway across the country"

LOL....he's from fucking Northern Ireland, and was playing in London for fucks sake. Yeah, Im sure playing for Man U would have been hell.

Quite frankly disgusted by the amount of you who think its ok to leave Spurs for The Scum because it was convenient. At least Sol Campbell went for trophies...you must really be backing him then.

Of course its nonsense......people have swept under the carpet his 8 years at The Scum as if he was going to watch his children starve to death if he didnt join them.
Its nonsense that people post a video in his defence......in which we are told he could have joined joined Utd, Villa or Ipswich, but refused, and chose Woolwich.
Its nonsense that people think its ok to leave Spurs for them "because it was 70s" basically.

A time when the NL rivalry was a lot more fierce and local than today.

Call him a legend all you want. He hasnt got a scratch on the likes of Ledders for me though.
