While People keep talking about Pep and Arteta and being given time, they were seriously backed which is not going to happen with us .Difficult to have any real confidence that things will pick up to any great extent in the foreseeable future .

Even if he was seriously backed, his weak philosophy will only work if he has the best squad bar none.

We haven’t really played well since October.

Initially, injuries and suspensions papered over the cracks but it’s seems like he can’t get this best out of the squad since then.
 
He was backed, we bought good players, we renewed our whole defense, we got Madison, we got Johnson, that he asked for, that's our best squad in years, he's just a shit manager.
 
Our idea of backing a manager usually means buying below top level players which as we have seen rarely pays any dividends.I know it's easy to say but we are better suited to a guy that can make us a bit better than the sum of the parts .We have seen with Conte and now with Ange that unless we can get the very best players in their positions we will fall short of any meaniful success.
 
Only difference between him and Sherwood is he doesnt come across as an arsehole and has a ready quip at press conferences. Otherwise the football, lack of ideas, naiveity and willingness to surrender in pretty much any match against half decent opposition is the same. Where were the cries about giving Sherwood more time? There were none because he obviously wasnt the answer and we replaced him with someone that was.
 
Whether Ange gets through this or no , who ever comes in or he stays Levy is going have to have seriously invest in this squad we ain’t challenging anybody anytime soon

For the love of Christ, Ange, can you not consider Johnson on the right, Richy in the middle and either Sonny or Deki on the left? Seems like something not too hard to try when everything else is failing miserably.
