Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Let's see if he can get rid of the right players in the summer. Something is clearly wrong as we haven't played like we care after that Chelsea loss that changed our season.

But can he pick the right replacements? If true that Brennan Johnson was the player that he really wanted, we can't trust him at all in that department.

He's got a point regarding supporters wanting City to win but supporters have a point about them not performing when it mattered and we're obviously not happy about their consistent underperformance.

Why did he play Skipp the other day and only yesterday pick what seemed like the correct line up given the injuries? What's going on in our midfield and why doesn't he seem to know which players to pick?

The fans have fuck all to do with winning. City win titles with a half empty stadiums. The fans will not decide whether we win trophies or not, yes occasionally you can have a ‘12th man’ which we always do have for London derbies but it’s a smaller factor. Having a competent well funded club will that can generate a elite squad will.

It's all-encompassing, hence Ange's reference to "inside and outside" influencers.

The most important 12th man nowadays is the ref/VAR.

Whilst you're right, he has to go off on one. I saw Moyes laughing about how Spam won't be able to beat the City u14's with the media and everybody gave a sensible chuckle in the presser.

Ange does anything other than show outrage and the entire weight of the media will talk about how he threw the match on purpose.

Is he pissed off we lost? Sure. But he is hamming it up for the media who are watching him like hawks.

A smart manager would do that without alienating his own fans. The fact we're discussing it in here shows how much of a mare he's had in that respect.

Small-mindedness thrives on the fear of scrutiny, always looking over its shoulder instead of forward into possibility.

That's who we are. We want to be mollycoddled like little children and when the going gets tough, hope and pray that the scum down the road fails at our pleasure, even at the expense of progress.
This.

There's a quite large and very vocal section of the fandom that is so scared about being bantered by other fanbases or what fans of other teams think. And that ends up taking up a lot of the discussions surrounding the club and painting the picture of how it is perceived.

It's not just the players that need to have a new mentality instilled in them. As rough as that may be to say.

Do what you want with it.

You're still talking shite and suspect you're more of an Ange fan than a spurs fan.
Yes.
100% Ange fan.

I'm first to admit that I'm now a Spurs fan since he took over.
My Spurs supporting will now continue whether he stays or goes.

First season as coach, and what has he achieved?

1. This season, finished higher in the table and goals scored even without Kane
2. Will more than likely get Spurs into ECL.
3. He has a vision of where he wants to get to.

What's wrong with him venting about the fickle fan base who are more worried about Woolwich than Spurs?

Ange saw something in Johnson that leaves a lot of us puzzled. He thought Werner was a good option in January. I think he assumed Son and Maddison would stay consistent.

Ive not been impressed by his approach to our attack. If he doesn't address that this summer I will have huge doubts for next season. Cant rely on defenders scoring in crucial matches, our high goal average is very deceiving. I have strong belief in him if he addresses the right things.

One more thing.

The people that think if we had beaten City then we were a virtual shoo in for CL football are obviously forgetting the season under Poch where we could have ended above the Scum for the first time in 20 odd years and finished 2nd in the table.

We needed a point from Southampton at home and an already relegated Newcastle. We lost both.

Seriously, dude, just fuck off.

The level of obnoxiousness in bowling into this fan space and judging life-long yids on how to deal with their closest, oldest rivalry - because you fancy the new manager and have 'tagged along' with him - is simply astounding.

Get the fuck out.

How fucking dare you.
