Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Exactly what I've been saying

The high line won't be the becoming of Ange it will be the recruitment and whether he is able to get his message across to his players.
The post you replied correctly stated we need better wingers, specifically accomplished dribblers.

You reply with the recruitment, which I agree with, but this manager is the one that wanted and sanctioned £50m on Johnson, a useless winger, wanted Werner in and apparently wants Gallagher.

How can you have any faith in his recruitment or evaluation of players?

Unless you're relying on Paratici, in which case fair enough.

To be fair, you have no idea if they will or won't be shit next season. If they can be better next season, then so can way.

And no, the football hasn't been shit to watch.

We could always try and get Conte back and bore the fuck out of everyone again, or has your memory failed you on what that kind of football was like.

SUPPORT the team.
The football imo has been shit, but you have enjoyed it so fair enough.
Yeah Conte's football was hard going, apart from getting top four, the only thing he did right was to call the club out, although that should have been done in private, because he also dug players out in public.
But what he said was bang on the money, as for supporting the team, I have done that since before you were born, so I can't be called into question over it.
Season is finishes on Sunday, time to put it behind us.

The jury is still out on Johnson though unless you think he won't improve or reach his peak?

Werner was a loan to cover Gil and looking at the past few matches Conor Gallagher is a player we could have done with...

Not sure what your point is?

His preference for giving minutes to Hodgeberg over Lo Celso time after time, and his apparent hankering for Gallagher in the TW has me seriously worried that we're going to pitch up next season with a bunch of grafters in midfield, and braindead speedsters up top, whilst Ange growls away on the touchline baffled that we're not playing total football.

Gallagher is a good player, but he's Chelski through and through. He's desperate to stay there, but seems resigned to the fact that they need to sell players and he'll be one of the first ones out the door. Not really the kind of player I think we should be going for, hard to imagine his heart ever being in it on the pitch for us.

Absolutely, I don't know how or why any spurs fan cannot see it.
The form has been diabolical, and in times past he would have been lucky to stay in a job.
Absolutely this. All this comments rubbish is deflection from the real issue. The run of form we've been on has got the likes of Gross Hoddle, Santini, Ramos, AVB and Nuno the sack. Hardly Tottenham managerial greats.

Look at their last 10 or 25 games, there is basically nothing in it points wise, some a lot better like AVB and even Santini and Nuno. I dont think he will be binned but he's fortunate there hasnt been more scrutiny. The goodwill if it continues early next season will be minimal.

He turned down a new contract the other day.

You point out all the managers that have been let down and sacked and still think the answer is to sack another manager?

Do you even read your own posts?

Is there really some genius manager out there that would do any different?

Lo Celso and Hojbjerg will not be here next season but the reason the former gets no minutes is because he is 100 times more likely to get injured. Hojbjerg is never injured. It wouldn’t be good for anyone if Lo Celso gets yet another injury and we are stuck with him until January. We need to get rid of him.

Has the last 48 hours not given us an insight into how players\managers view things differs from fans?

He's just turned down a Chavs contract ffs, he's not that desperate to say there.

Majorly pissed off that the media is going on about us as fans potentially wanting Woolwich’s title bid to be derailed, when several years ago the PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS at clubs were inferring they wanted Leicester to win the league rather than Spurs. Coupled with stupidly “naive” displays against Leicester yet very hard performances against Spurs.

Pricks.

They didn't even infer, they literally said it

And everyone just laughed it off 😆

Do you think any of those would have improved given more time? Which of those went on to better things and proved us wrong? Sacking them wasnt the issue, appointing them was.

Do i think there are managers that could get more than 37 pts out of 27 games with the squad we have? Yes i do. I'm sure he'll get the start of next season but the question is how long do you give it if this run continues?

He still gets on though, so the avoiding injury angle doesn't really work for me.

It just seems like a pure preference issue...

And as much as I despise Mourinho's antics, he would have raged at the press and not the fans about the searing hypocrisy.
