The entire first paragraph was unprofessional imo.

Have you just compared racist chants (literally hate speech) with asking the team to lose so Woolwich don’t win the league?
New lows.
The article is unfairly snide (which, by the way, underlines why it was so important we lost. Imagine what they would have said if we won). You have been on team “He’s been found out” For a while though.
Maybe the article was more like confirmation bias porn for haters?
where is this racist chanting story coming from? not seen it.Fan 1"Just got thrown out of the stadium"
Fan 2 "What did you say mate"
Fan 1 "Just a load of racist chanting, you know the usual, added a bit of homophobia as well"
Fan 2 "That's crazy, I thought we lived in a democratic society"
Fan 1 " I know mate, shocking"

Not all affected by key injuries or suspensions or inadequacy of front line etc.?!![]()
Trust you to spectacularly miss the point, you utter dumbo
You're having a mare this morning, log off for a few days and focus on being a better human if your actual day job is to serve and protect.

If he was doing that then fuck him.

But the last line rings true. You don’t get to say results don’t matter, because you’re working towards a more important goal, but then whinge when fans do the same.
He’s handled this week badly. Needs to keep a calmer head.
Shady you have a mare every morning.
It was a shit point. One is hate speech literally not permitted democratically, the other is saying pretty please Ange don’t win this game my neighbour will make fun of me.
The press conference, the ‘inside and outside’ comment and his barely veiled disgust at everything going on. It was clearly directed at a ‘portion’ of the fan base.
You've done it again LMAO
The point was about democracy, you can't just whatever you want because we live in a free world because there's always consequences.
I wasn't comparing, I'm just using the alternative as an extreme example.
There's no way you're this thick in real life

He shit the bed.
It was a horrific week. We just need to draw a line under it and forget it ever happened.
Of course. But that’s because it’s more unusual for a manager to question fans. Not unheard of, but unusual.Funny how he said "inside AND outside" but only the "outside" part gathered momentum on the interwebs.
Maybe people just like having a moan.

Well actually, when you attend a Spurs game you are a guest on private property, and a licensor can eject anyone from it's premises for any reason, right down to not liking the look of your face, or not wearing the right shoes. This is not a question of free speech, it's about what conduct is permitted inside the stadium by the powers that be.No you’re being a total prat as usual.
Society set certain things apart from free speech a long time ago. The rest is fair game and nobody gets to arbitrarily say you’re not allowed to say shit like you want us to lose.
‘well ur not allowed 2 be racist so why should u be allowed to say we should lose?’
Absolute car-crash.
Of course. But that’s because it’s more unusual for a manager to question fans. Not unheard of, but unusual.

Apart from that Ramos spell we're on our worst set of results in 20 years, be it over 10 or 25 games and it barely seems to warrant a mention. In all my years supporting us i cant think of any other manager who has got off so lightly, with so little scrutiny after such a poor run.
The entire conversation was in the context of a fan being ejected from the stadium, not about people being dragged out of their beds by the gestapo for their online opinions. That’s a completely different argument to the one being made. Of course they can eject you if they want to.
