Spurs won’t look solid enough under any system. They just don’t have the players. Not even Pep could save Spurs with garbage like Sarr, Johnson in the starting XI. Huge question marks also on Bentancur, Bissouma. Kulusevski, Udogie etc. IMO only Vicario, VDV, Son, Maddison perhaps also Porro and Richarlison (as a winger) are good enough to be in a Championship winning team.
The thing with Ange is this. you now have a Championship winning style of football. That’s one of the two variables ticked off. Now you just need to go and find the players. Big question of Ange is weather he is capable of diagnosing the weaknesses in his team and go about disposing of them (ie Sarr).
If we’d beaten Villa at our place when we outplayed them but couldn’t score more, and conceded twice from their only two chances we would have finished 4th…

ANGE Nah, I always wanted to finish fifth. We're not good enough yet for CL. The last couple of months I've just been keeping an eye on the table and trying different formations.
I kept telling all those Pressers that I wasn't interested in CL. Funny that none of them asked if I was interested in Europa League.

Next season will be a great one and who knows about season 3.

Funny how we are so happy with Fat Carl when his end to this season is so comparable to last seasons car crash under Stellini and Mason.

This was the first year I've thought we did well against the bottom clubs, if only we just showed up against Wolves. If we strengthen properly no reason why we cannot improve against the top of the league. Those 5 defeats in 6 were all against the top teams this season.

One thing i noticed today is that almost half our points and half our wins this season come against the bottom 6.
32 pts and 10 wins. Nothing wrong with beating the shit, its a decent trait but a bit concerning that means we have won 10 games against the top 14 teams all season.
