I enjoy supporting the club more than during the Mourinho, Nuno or Conte years.

Will it bring success? With patience, we have the right talent and age profile to win. I doubt that will happen this year but it’s a long season.

I hope Solanke can get fit and scoring. He would make a big difference.

I fucking lost it with him last season, after the Woolwich game at home onwards.
This year however despite hard to take results I'm firmly behind Ange. We've been on top of the opponents in each of 3 games so far just conceded fairly stupidly against the run of play. That happens if you go for the kill but fail to take the chances. We've had Newcastle rattled at a point today and just lacked a good old striker's finish.
Think our season truly starts when Solanke is back fit. Its ok, 4 points out of 9 isn't great but not a fucking end of the world considering the performances been really good in general. If we start putting chances away then I believe we will be able to became more measured defending as well. Been a bit unlucky so far, you can see how frustrated Ange. This is because we're deserving a win but it isn't quite clicking for us yet. All 3 strikers out injured. I'll give it time before melting

I think some of the posters think that the season is a rolling 38 games — in which case wouldn’t we have won the league under Poch?

In truth, I don’t think Davey ‘Put It Abaht A Bit, You Pussy’ Boy can keep track of 38 given that he runs out of fingers and toes at 22.

Ultimately that's the crux of it, it's not necessarily his fault that we aren't converting the chances but it IS his fault that we are so open.

Not scoring our chances is stopping us winning games. Conceding stupid goals from being easy to cut open is why we lose or draw.

Woolwich, United then Brentford. It could be very noisy, very soon.

I know Slot came from the Dutch league which is better than SPL but has he ever been involved in CL, EL or any other European/International competitions? He looks good fit so far at liverpool.

Did you just refer to our last 31 (it’s actually 31) league matches from a total of 41 as “cherry picking” - you think taking 76% of a sample size (and the final 76% at that) is cherry picking?

Newcastle were turd today and nothing like last season. They’ve had an awful summer window and their manager’s future is in doubt. The game was there for the taking but we conspired to fuck it up because we can concede from any moment from simple counter attacking play that rips through our high line and weak midfield.

The other 2 games we’ve played this season? Well those 2 teams combined have got 1 point so far from an available 18. And where did that 1 point come from?? Yep no prizes there…
So yeah big pat on the back for our 4 points from Leicester and Everton.

It’s boring. It’s boring beating ONLY teams we are fully well expected to beat. It’s boring not having confidence in your side in the bigger matches - even when you are the superior side because you are expecting us to fuck it up and invariably we do.

Wishful thinking. And even if it's true, it would be extremely irresponsible. If we continue like this he won't last six months.

I hope he turns it around but if results and performances don't improve, why exactly would he get more time?
