I think he found the lineup. It’s crazy but playing with one “real” midfielder and two “10” might be the solution.
This. Actually, after Woolwich game i thought that main positive was that we found we can play Madders and Deki in midfield together against top level rivals without conceding many chances against. We built on top of that during next games, and today it worked perfectly against tough opponent at their place.

Well Starks Starks Richard Arlison Richard Arlison we did it, gave a big 6 side a good hiding. Well done to all the playing staff and coaches.

playing kulu and maddison makes a huge difference. no longer are we waiting for wingers who cant provide silk to provide it. we actually have two playmakers centrally who can get shit going for everyone around them. its a shame its taken so long to actually tweak it enough to give it a chance.

well see if we have turned a corner against a decent brighton side, the last 3 games have come at the perfect time for postecoglou, 3 shit sides. united are the worst ive ever seen in my lifetime right now.

lets hope things have turned a corner, well see against brighton.

Yes brilliant performance from start to finish just what we needed and proof that big Ange really is the right man for the job
His signings have been first class like in the cases of Vicario and Van De Ven top top players since they signed but every week just when you think they cant get any better than what we have seen from them already they still surprise you.
VDV for me is already a club legend and his namesake VDV wasnt a bad legend to have previously at white hart lane
Vicario up to this point has had a slow and sloppy start to pre season and early games of this season but the last couple of games hes found his form once again and i think perhaps more importantly his confidence because a confident goalie is key to building a top team (the guys only 27) next couple of years generally keepers hit there peaks 28-32 years old
My hope now is that we will see the very best of Rodrigo Bentancur in the next couple of fixtures he looks totally over his injuries and could be a key piece in midfield like today with Madders and Deki either side
Brennan Johnson what can you say???
Ange brought you to this club to hone your raw talent and turn you into the world beater you will prove to be
Keep believing bruv because your confidence is key
Keep up the good form because your ceiling is mega high.
Dominik Solanke - what a player you will be in this side going forward and a key player to generate success on the field

Anyway i dont know what my point is but i think we are definitely heading in the right direction under Ange yes they'll be big slip ups at times but general consensus of what ive seen since hes been at the helm is improvements in all areas on the field and well scouted young raw talents like Gray, Bergvall, Udogie(pre Ange) , Oderbert (what a talent) personnel who offer the right balance and have all the attributes for future success as a club.

I agree that it would be a mess and I can’t see any of those players fitting into Ange Ball. Ange does love a challenge though so I think if the opportunity did come in a couple years time he would seriously consider it
I think he would see this as close to his pinnacle, the only way I reckon he leaves us is in a couple years he has us winning cups but can’t quite turn us into a title challenging team, and then the Liverpool or mayyybe the City job came up.

Don't know if you saw their Chelsea game mate but it's actually a pretty good time to be playing Brighton too.

The game featured of the most batshit high-lines I've ever seen; playing two carthorses in Dunk and Webster at CB, forcing them to stand on the half-way line, and seeing Chelsea create a great chance every time they lobbed the ball over the top was quite something to behold.

Next week could be one of the most mental Prem games of the season. I can see the way Brighton play suiting us down to the ground, this game could be very transitional. Both teams like to pass it and press high, it could come down to who has the better press, fortunately ours looks pretty damn good as we've had a further year to work on it.

Agreed

Even when we hadn’t started with great results I was buzzing to watch this team play every week.

This team is still on a massive learning curve but you know it’s going to be fun and their mentality is bulletproof.

Today's result was due.
We have dominated , played well, created chances and have not reaped the rewards.
A solid win at Brighton would consolidate this run.

Not much to complain about over the last three matches certainly.

You'd have to say that we didn't see anything near the best versions of Brentford from recent years or of a ManUre team that's reeling. But we can only beat the team on the schedule each week and we're doing it at the moment.

The questions surrounding Ange this season have essentially been two - is this group good enough to win playing his style, and can the team win with Ange's bent toward not changing anything when it's not working.

It hadn't been working at all, now it has been working (against some flawed opponents) with another one on the way this weekend. May be Christmas before we really know what to expect from the year.

But the team had been slipping toward a lost season and for the moment they've turned the momentum around. You have to credit the manager and the players for all of that.

Weird place.

A couple of games back there were quite a few on here who ment we should sack Ange, because he was out of his depths in PL. Now, a few good performances later, the discussions are whether he is going to get hijacked by L'pool, Manure or Real Madrid. .

I'd rate that our best performance since he took charge.

Fair play to the big man, we turned on the style away at one of the Big 6 and made them look shite.

So many Man Utd acquaintances getting a friendly John Thomas msg on their phones tonight. Loving it.

Thanks, Ange

Pleased to hear you have some banter to give people finally. Id bet they don't respond with a single mention of winning the FA Cup last season.
