Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

You (try to) joke but it absolutely should.

We play our strongest 11 last night and we win by a bigger margin for sure.

The fact is we got minutes for our younger players, second string and some players coming back from injury keeping our staters for the weekend mostly protected, win, don't concede and continue to put ourselves in a strong position in Europe.

Shows great squad management, stress tests the squad when other managers previously have tried to do so in Europe and failed, and keeps us mostly fresh for the weekend.

At this point, it is just complaining for complaining sake.

Im sure if we win vs Palace at the weekend you will still find a reason to not fully get behind the project, which is your call i guess.

I think he changed too many players again but I can see why he did it. He needed to give the players minutes in case they are called upon at any time and when you look through the side you can see the reason for starting every player.

I would agree with you there - was a ballsy move again from him but he probably felt that 1 - he had enough to change things if absolutely needed off the bench and 2) these players need to gel together too if they are going to be playing together more in this comp - which feels like the plan though I can see him starting some more senior players in the next couple of fixtures.

We draw or lose last night and obviously this conversation is a bit different but we really are in a strong position fitness wise to turn up on the weekend and take the game to Palace.

In Ange We Trust! Is it sustainable football and can we win anything? Fuck knows. But this Tottenham team is exciting and we are in for a rollercoaster ride. I say sit back and enjoy it!

Like all things Spurs - Chances are it will crash and fall at some stage so enjoy it while it lasts!

Yep. No excuses not to.

Agree.

There'll be plenty of time to moan in future, this is Spurs. Enjoy the moment.
I never know if this is a week when we're supposed to be pulling our hair out and asking for the manager to be fired since we're in danger of relegation, or it's the one where the manager invented football, is wise and all knowing, and we're going to knock off Man City. Being a Spurs fan is confusing.

My lord some of you must be miserable irl, enjoy the ride, team is playing well, there a whole bunch of exciting talent coming through, there are goals every match, 2nd string winning in Europe. 7 wins in 8 and still whining.

Some of you????

The last time this football club won a “proper” cup Macauley Culkin was a new child actor on the scene and Right Said Fred were cultural icons in the UK with number 1 hit singles. Gazza and Linekar were heroes to the country after Italia 90.

in the meantime United, Liverpool, City and Woolwich have won 50 cups between them.

Tbh I’m amazed we are not all on antidepressants .

Anyway I’m off to listen to some Joy Division and The Smiths on repeat to cheer me up.

If you happen to tire of those choices before we win another trophy then may I suggest you continue your journey with some Leonard Cohen.

for example:

Two SSRIs made me a lot worse to be fair. Still, we all need to go to the non-existent psychotherapy that Ange recommends for humbly pointing out he hasn't won anything yet. Or even beaten Woolwich yet, after 3 attempts, etc.
