I had a look at Chelsea, Woolwich, Liverpool lineups over the weekend. Each had maximum 3 to 4 players out. You take 10 players out and those clubs are mid table.
You should all be greatful that we’re not in the bottom 3.
If we stick with Ange and are top half come February, we will push hard for top 5 maybe 4th. 8 out of the last 10 games are very winnable.

Imagine if we had this sort of competition all over the squad, where players like Bissouma and Son could be dropped after a poor performance. If the likes of Bentancur, Richarlison, Odobert and Moore were available then that could happen but I do think we need to invest much more. what i liked most about spence while he was at RB is that when Southampton did go on the attack he was actually at RB not on walkabout somewhere up front, nor getting sucked into CB leaving the right back area completely exposed
I do understand the reluctance to drop porro as we're an attacking team and he's one of the best at it but he leaves us terribly exposed with his positional sense and he's lack of physical presence. Plus spence showed he can attack last night so fingers crossed it's not Exile again
