Fucking look at it.

Look at it.

I don't think relegation is a serious concern this season, but look at the state of this. In our last six only the bottom two have worse form than us, and we're even with Leicester. Our saving grace is the bottom three are utterly dismal an are showing no sign of improvement whatsoever.

4 points from 6 games. We've played all of the bottom 4 now, by the way and scooped up 5 points out of 12.

Fucking dismal and shut up about injuries.

Easy now mate that bottom three took 4 points off us when we was at full strength.

I fail to see the lie. You told us we were "cooked" for fearing we had no defenders available. Now as a defence of Ange we're being told he played injured yesterday.

But yeah, lies.
ok so my wires crossed so I hold my hands up there, you were calling us all cooked over something else, something to do with Biss being likely to play instead of Dorrington. You were adamant that Dragusin wasn't injured though and there's no crisis.

Or is there?

My head is spinning. The spin machine is in full force.

Of the 15 oddd league games we’ve lost in 2024 around 8/9 of them featured Vic, Micky and Romero. It’s not like they are the magic ticket.

Exactly. I have no faith things will improve that much. We might turn the odd defeat into a draw or draw into a win, but it’ll still be woeful form. Simple fact is both Romero and VDV weren’t playing well before they were injured. Romero particularly

The quicker we change the manager the quicker we start the long road to recovery. There is no point giving Ange more time. His methods are not effective at this level of football.

The injury situation is his fault. He cannot cry about being unable to rotate when he has young players on the bench that he said he was happy to have in his first team. He cannot cry about Destiny’s injury when he has had Spence and Reguilon available all season. He cannot complain about the intensity of the fixture schedule when his training sessions are crocking players as soon as they return from injury.

Quite.

Doesn’t the fact that he was expecting the injuries to slow down but they got considerably worse suggest that we have a deeper rooted issue to solve?

At least in his mind

No. He actually says his training causes the issues and injuries but the players will get used to it in the second season. Based on this season he was completely wrong, the players haven’t got used to it. If the useless fraud says what the cause is, but that things will improve and they don’t, it’s clear where the issue is. He’s a chancer who is out of his depth so yes I do think Ange is heavily responsible for all the issues we are seeing. Do you honestly trust him to know what he’s doing regarding training and fitness based on the rest of his management at Spurs?

He’s managed the squad appallingly. He is a complete amateur

Oh not a lie, really?

Go and find the quote and the conversation then, this will be fun.
I've already held my hands up, "bro". Unlike some on here I don't shy away from my mistakes.

But the central point remains, we have Ange fans telling us to be calm because Dragusin is fine, and we shouldn't be concerned about having no CBs and we have Ange fans telling us Dragusin is actually playing injured we in fact have no CBs.

100%.

We are 13 points behind Forest - let that sink in.

Yesterday Shadydan Shadydan was telling us we were a "cooked fanbase" (or whatever teen lingo he's speaking this week) because we were concerned that Dragusin was injured and it's all fine.

Today we're being told that we in fact have no defenders and Dragusin is playing injured.

Which is it?

Son has been shocking this season! I don't know whats happened to him. Probably fatigue but he's giving the ball away, making the wrong decisions and not working hard enough off the ball. He's not tracking back or pressing to the levels required. His confidence is at an all time low too.Usually he is such a sharp player and only needs one touch to get a shot away but this season he takes 5 or 6 touches before taking a shot on and he's become so easy for defenders to mark.. Watching Cunha yesterday shows the difference in confidence levels. He was taking on shots on the spin and just oozed confidence. Son has the ability to do all that but something is missing this season. He could do with a 2 or 3 game break but we don't have the luxury to rotate him given how poor werner looks every time he comes on

He was poor in 2nd half of last season too.

The system doesn't suit him - the high press with overload means he's mostly facing defenders able to double up on him with little risk. He usually tries to take them on, resulting in the ball turning over to the opposition who get a 3 v 3 or 4 v 4 break opportunity with 2/3 of the pitch to play into. We've seen it time and time again when the opposition targets him as the weakest link in terms of conceding possession and I assume we'll see it again next week vs Newcastle.

On top of that he's clearly lost some of his afterburner pace. 3-4 years ago Son was still faster with the ball at his feet than most defenders without the ball. That is definitely no longer the case.

When Son was horrendous under Conte, everyone blamed Conte.
Now Son is even worse under Flange, everyone is blaming Son.

I'm not saying it's a hypocrisy, but

Sorry I don't see where you've done this...?

Yes but their level dropped by around 20 points. We are nowhere near as good as that Liverpool team, its just an example of the drop off due to injuries. They won the league the year before. We came 5th
Liverpool's drop off wasn't just down to injuries IMO, they were at the end of a cycle, you act like their drop off only happened because of issues with their defence but they also had huge problems scoring goals, going from 89 and 85 scored the 2 seasons prior to 68. We are on pace to comfortably outscore that Klopp side, to act like all their issues that season stemmed from defensive injuries is very reductive, they were coming down from the high of winning the CL and PL back to back, what fucking high are we coming down from? Ange's hat trick of MOTM awards?
