What the *fuck* is going on?

I just can’t, for the life of me, understand the hold he has over the club.

Combination.

1 Levy doesn’t have any viable alternatives
2 Levy knows this sacking won’t save him from the anger of fans like previous sacking where Levy could get away with blaming the manager. It’s happened to many times.
3 Manager hasn’t yet done anything against Levy like Redknapp or Conte did. Levy seems a shallow ego and doesn’t like criticism but Ange has been very careful not to attack the board.

There's some seriously weird shit going on here. Won't sack a manager who is clearly on the brink. Won't bring anyone in. Totally relaxed about being dragged into a relegation fight.

If we fail to beat Leicester this Sunday by the way it will be three calendar months without a home win by the time we next have a home league game.

This needs to sink in.

If you really mean you want to back him then fucking get on with it.

Something is really off.

Far better managers than Ange haven’t beaten Liverpool at home either, nor did they win 4-0 at the Emptyhad.

It’s the Cup, anything can happen
We hardly played them off the fucking park though, did we? They had the better chances throughout the match, we got very lucky they couldn't convert any of them. Granted Solanke's goal probably should have stood as well but they fucking humped us 6-3 at home not long ago in the league, that should be all the evidence you need that a lucky 1-0 home win is not going to be enough to get us through to the final with 90 mins at Anfield standing in the way.

I will happily wager Richard Arlison that we lose at Anfield and go out the cup.

Maybe the last 10 years.

Go back 10 years before that Boro, Spurs, Birmingham and Swansea all won the league cup while having poor league campaigns. 2004- 2013
Highest finish Swansea. 9th.
Spurs and Boro 11th.
Birmingham got relegated!!

Uh oh!!
I thought that was the case for Birmingham, but couldn't be bothered to look it up.
So we wouldn't be the first team to win a cup and go down! ;)
Don't think we have any need to worry on the first criterion, as I just can't see us getting a result at Anfield. (Fool that I am, going to that!)
