For once i'd be ok with that. It literally cannot be any worse. Just telling our full backs to play as full backs and get 2 midfielders to sit in midfield will improve results. Just simple back to basics. But they wont go back to Mason, too embarrasing for them.
4-4-2 under Steve Bruce would be better until the end of the season.

That is how shambolically bad we are.

His voice... just so beautiful.
The point Meia Amador makes on X is so ficking obvious it's shocking how hard it was for people on THIS forum to accept. I argued till blue, it was conditioning, it was work load, it was HOW we pressed, all of which were on Ange. All you got was some utter shit for brains posting an info graphic at you pointing out Liverpool did this or saying in a voice I hear like cletus in the Simpson's ' Are footballers nat supposed ta run now' I despise these people.

I got some breaking news!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!! its happening!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What? Have you broke water? Are Trump dead? Are God real?

I agree - Poch is like Obi Wan, became more powerful when he was struck down. If he was given a second go he would be in a very strong position to put pressure on for transfers etc and Levy wouldn't want that.

If we were in actual danger of relegation we absolutely should do this and become hard to beat/grind out draws.

As it stands we seem to be stuck with Ange until summer. If he hasn’t been sacked now he must be immune until we’re out of Europa and by then it’s so close to summer that it doesn’t matter.

Hard to see the point of our league schedule the rest of the way in.

Poch from nowhere to 7-1 now.

Keep singing his name.

Yup, a graveyard for managers!

And if we are serious for a second. I wonder if the club has dug itself a hole so deep, we can't get out of it?

What great manager would want to come here now? Same with players.

I'm not feeling positive at all about the club going forward. The only thing we have left to attract managers/players with, are living in London, and money. And we all know our owner doesn't like to spray money around.

But that's the only route we have left it seems.

The only scenario i can see, is back to the 90's and midtable obscurity, unless we start spending big on wages.

i actually think we were on a decent path and were enacting a plan. of course it was an underwhelming and unambitious plan for a club of our size but we signed some decent young players and a handful of older established players that could play the kind of football we say we want to play. then we screwed the pooch taking a punt on a backwoods manager rather than someone with some pedigree.

Well I was right about one thing..I woke up this morning and he is still here...I've lost all hope...I don't understand why baldy, preeminent trigger puller, has done nothing about the guy who is wrecking our club...I'm giving up for the moment...can't take it anymore. People say it's the hope that kills you...
Over all entrances to the ground there should be a sign overhead..

Can't see it happening before he's had at least a go at the World Cup next year, especially as he's managing the host nation. Probably looking at £10m+ to buy him out of his contract at the moment as well, can't see the bald miser stumping up the cash.

I remember posting on either here or Glory Glory that Redknapp had been sacked ahead of all the media outlets - because one of my relatives had been meeting with Levy that day and heard it from staff as he was waiting.

Did anyone give a fuck about my diamond hard ITK? Did they fuck. I might as well have told a random stranger on the street.

But I'm not bitter and don't hold a grudge or anything.
Is that you Hercules?

I'd promote the U23 coach on a interim basis just to get it done with.

Wayne seems to have the kids far better drilled either way. And it's not like U23 coaches stepping up is completely unheard of.
I said weeks ago I'd let bloke at the womens team and his assistant take it till Iraola in the summer. I genuinely now think there's no risk in losing Ange I think I could do better.

If you let it, it will really take an even bigger fcuking toll.

I am refusing to let that happen, and I suggest that is the stance many should adopt.

Survival is all that should matter.

What did you just say ? I honestly did not catch it.

My point was simple - in first games in Europe we rotated lot more. And mostly got through it.
Yet after Galatasaray game this rotation stopped.

I honestly don't remember if it stopped because of injuries or by design, or even how much less he rotated full stop tbh.

Maybe he felt after the Gala loss that we needed to go strong to qualify?

End of the day, if it was Champions League, he definitely couldn't have rotated that much even in the beginning.

After that we got draws with Roma and Rangers. It is hard for me to imagine we could have done worse than 2p from those games with some youngsters getting more minutes.

Our results since with youngsters would suggest otherwise, though, right?

Best case in point for me is Lankshear. Scored against Gala. Went off with 2nd booking. And then got combined of 11 (!) minutes in 3 games where he was available. That is not enough in my view.

Yeah that red spooked Lankshear and he decided he wasn't ready at all after that. Wasn't a fan of quitting on a young player after a mistake like that tbh.
