I am so disconnect from the club following recently that I don't look forward to our games anymore and don't mind missing them. Ange just stinks our football so much, but kudos to Bergvall in signing an extension - I couldn't even bring myself to congratulate in his thread. But this tweet is such a reprive. Anything or anyone against Ange is so welcomed. How bad is he to have set us back 10 steps with he himself stupidly thinking he could move us forward with 3.
Yeh I wanted to fuck Margot Robbie but that never happened either.
No idea if Enrique actually wanted to come here but I don’t seriously think we picked Ange over him. That would be insane.

My gut feeling is big name coaches like Enrique and Nagelsmann all wanted to know if Kane was staying and the deal was pretty much already done. Conte definitely accepted the gig on the basis that Kane stayed.

And strictly speaking with the penalty rules at the time it was a handball from Sissoko but I felt that the referee couldn’t wait to give it and subtly throughout the game made sure that we were never going to win it!

Beautifully put - and i'm frankly shocked that the folks banging on about trophies non stop in the ENIC thread would not be only thinking about, talking about, caring about the fact that we are 3 games away from winning one.
My feeling is that once again, those people care more about being right and being outraged than about the club they profess to care so deeply about.
Ange is gone no matter what in my mind - this PL season will be forgotten like any that we finsihed in a shit position. But if we win the Europa - the cup will be remembered forever.
No one remembers where we finished in the league when we won any other cup.

10th, 10th and 11th for last 3 cups, back to 1991. I was hoping we might get to 11th as a good omen , some chance of that. Yeah of course I'd be buzzing too. I'm even thinking of spending a few days at my pad in Biarritz and driving down to Bilbao to watch it at a local boozer with some pals...mad fiesta for the ages if we won it.
But still, I'd enjoy that win a zillion times more if we weren't a relegation-worthy side in the PL. And didn't have a chairman & manager who 90% of the fanbase hate.
Best move we can make now is to tell Levy to fuck right off & just look after the business side of things.
Have Vinnie make all the football decisions from now on, with Paratici reporting into him. Need a couple wise heads to collab with the Don, so we don't just look at Serie A and don't go for Bryan Gil v2.0.
Obviously still need a miracle worker type manager, but I'd be a lot more confident about our chances to attract someone quality with the Vinnie-Donnie tandem in charge as opposed to the bald tumor.

I understand Jaynola's point of view... this club is a shit show and has been for a few seasons now... our PL form is disgraceful and it is the real measurement of the health of the club... winning the Europa does not paper over the cracks of this club... but, we've been starved of success for so long that winning the Europa League, even under this clown will be a day to remember. Yes, it's not the premier European trophy but I still regard it as proper silverware even if the competition has been weakened significantly over the years. It also delivers Champions League although I'm quite scared about that... we could be well and truly embarrassed and I don't think a new manager changes that. Maybe look at it this way... and I will credit

I’d fucking love to win the EL and will absolutely ZERO fucking mixed emotions if we win it.
The club is a shit show that needs new ownership BUT I’m still pretty optimistic for the future of this squad. We are (always) a few good transfers away from really challenging and there were worse squads than ours in the Champions League this season.
