Absolutely. The look on a West Ham fans face when you tell them you're a Spurs fan.

Like, you've spent 3 hours getting to know this new person you just met, you get on well, then it moves to football and say you're a Spurs fan. And they're reduced to the lowest form of intelligence possible. Basically the football equivalent of racism.

THAT said, Spurs fans do it. The utter drivel I've read on here because there's a link to Arse. I can't even type the full word.
Grow up folks. Humans need to be better.

There’s another English bloke over here who goes to watch Debrecen FC , we were chatting , got along fine , when I said I was Spurs he said “ for fucks sake , can’t stand them” I asked who he supported & he said West Ham , he seemed a tad miffed that I was absolutely indifferent towards them .

It’s all a bit silly really

Vic is a bit suspect on corners…. Onana is just suspect all round really.

Vic seems to struggle when he has to use his physicality to win a ball. He tends to hesitate, and the split second hesitation often leads to an error.

Onanah lacks concentration and is a poor shot stopper. If the ball is directly at him, he's OK, but if he has to stretch, he often lacks hand strength. I actually wonder if he suffers poor eyesight after seeing a few of his fumbles. He seems to judge his distances wrong and his timing is often off.

First Euro final in 6 years but nope let's still bitch about the manager 😂
Yes mate but you're forgetting that:

- Ange had nothing to do with it, the players won that despite him.
- Bodo are shit, Leyton Orient could have beaten them.
- It's a second rate comp that any top 4 team wouldn't care about.
- They had injuries.
- The wind was against them the whole game.
- Porro's goal was a cross.
- Ange is a c**t

I'm sure there's more that we usually hear, but these are the main sort of excuses for winning and general statements that spring to mind (minus the wind obviously!)

His tactics were actually spot on against Bodo. Sometimes we do better when we overly respect the opposition. It's just hard to know if our team is going to lose by 2+ goals or win by 2+ goals and generally we lose except for Europe.

My point is I still don't get how we can be randomly tactically perfect in a small percentage of games and not the vast majority, from a defensive point of view, at least in the league.
Qarabag, Ferencvaros, AZ, Elfsborg, Hoffenheim, Bodo...would struggle in the Champo or League One. Frankfurt no-showed (and different animal without Marmoush & Gotze).

We saw what happened when we faced Roma & Galatasaray.

Big win last night. In to a European final. Chance for a massive trophy.

Yet some on here still choosing not to enjoy the moment and instead get their whinges in.

This place is gonna eat itself after the final, whatever the result.

We’re not playing Bodo every week. Truth is we’ve played very average teams through the EL. He’s been comfortable at that level. He could probably manage Frankfurt and Bodo. Utd will be far tougher unfortunately.
Exactly.

He's shitting on people and accusing them of diminishing his achievements in the EL, but he's the one massively embellishing it like he's taken Azerbaijan to the World Cup final after smashing France, Brazil, England, Spain and Argentina. Get real, pal.

He's sacrificed the PL weeks ago to do well in the EL in order to save his own ass and keep his fat wage a bit longer. He ain't happy for us fans or even his players, just for his salary, rep & mad ego.

I thought Ange was a good coach that was up in grade and learning. We then went through the disaster that went on and on. My conclusion was that he is either a complete dud coach but the world's greatest conman or he is mentally ill.

Why oh why cant a team of players at this level play game tactics suited to the team they're playing and situation our team finds itself in? I'm certainly not an expert but I always found it odd that for whatever reason this was never to be attempted.

The original sin of the sport or something as dire.

This game was the game that should've been played against Ipswich at home and so many others.

Angeball isn't a travesty if played at the right time against suitable opposition. It can be very good at those times.

Things like not getting draws. No game management. No set piece coach etc. This whole fucked up year was so avoidable with a little humility and accepting whatever short term crap he cops for changing whatever the mythical golden rules were.

In the end if he gets the chop it will not be because he's a dud coach it will be because his personality traits such as his pride turned him in to a dud coach.

Thankfully it appears that he for whatever reason has seen the light. Probably to late for a career at Spurs but not to late to leave a very happy memory for the supporters.

You forgot to mention that it was on a plastic pitch and Bodo aren't used to it.

Fair play to Ange, certainly in the Europa League and to a certain extent the League cup where for most of the games he has set us up very well. It's a shame it's not been like that in the league but that's a conversation for a different day and I'm sure if we win the Europa no one will give two shits about finishing 17th in the league.

You know it's possible to be buzzing about being in the final whilst still being aware of the overall context, right?

I'm friggin made up about going to Bilbao, I truly am...but I refuse to bury my head in the sand and ignore all the shit that's gone on this season and years prior. It ain't because he's taken us to the EL final that I'm gonna forgive him for the 19 defeats, insulting the fans on many an occasion and co. I ain't gonna forgive Levy for 25 years of ineptitude either just cause we beat Bodo.

Makes me a bad Spurs fan and you a proper one? Cool. But really, that's on the club some of us are feeling like that. Have us even P8 in the league with 8 to 10 defeats, plus not spreading our cheeks in front of Liverpool in the CC semis and Villa in the FA Cup...then my joy at making Bilbao would know no limits.

But yeah, I'm gonna try my best to at least put all that shit on standby til 22nd May, so I can enjoy the sweet without the bitter.

Ange will literally go down as the coldest man in Premier league history with his quote about winning things in his second season, or he will go down as a meme - there is no in between now !
The media machine will go into overdrive now , telling us all that Spurs have no place to beat united in a European final as we are Spurys , I think though the next few weeks will be the perfect storm for Ange , he suits the underdog role!

Hmmmm I know. But they should've. Point was, soon as we faced decent competition that had their shit together, we shook. Gala coulda put 12 past us. Fuck me, even AZ beat us once. Qarabag and Ferencvaros weren't masterclasses either.

In this year's EL, which is the weakest edition I can remember, it hasn't stopped us - or Utd - from making the final. But in the PL, we've seen what's what.

All I'm saying is, let's bloody enjoy it and I pray we win it, but let's not pretend that's the CL and we beat Liverpool, Barca and PSG on the way. Or that Ange is Luis Enrique.

Was no talk about bad fans or good fans from me.

Just don't understand why people care about the negatives right now.

Like you said, all the other stuff should be put aside for the next two weeks. Like him or hate him, he's got us to a final and everyone should be behind him and the 'shit' players.

After that, let the battles commence.

The only thing that matters now is getting a win in Bilbao. I really can’t understand anyone who spends any energy on the Ange In Ange Out thing right now. Let’s worry about that later.

I get what you're saying, enjoy it but don't enjoy it too much.

Like if I won £5m on lotto, just remember last week's jackpot was £10m.

If my daughter gets an A in an exam, always remember there's an A+

If my wife orgasms twice, remember there's a bigger bloke out there that would have managed it 3 times.

It's good to remain grounded at the end of the day. We can't enjoy our success too much!
