If he's willing to adapt in order to ensure progression through the Europa, then it certainly would be nice to give such consideration to the league games, which after all we have to suffer through 38 games a season of.
It's simply not enjoyable to watch your team losing almost every week, all very nice having grand notions of playing the right way and "going for it", but the truth is we've seen very little of that anyway. We've had all of the defensive fragility with no great attacking football on display. It's mostly been naive, turgid, unimaginative tripe.

Ange has said MULTIPLE times before when asked this, that he has been trying to implement a type of attacking philosophy that he believes will bring long-term success, chopping and changing tactics only leads to loss of identity in the team. This is a journey for this group and they are not quite there. Again like he has said multiple times before injuries have not helped him implement this philosophy this year.
Now clearly given the circumstances and importance of these last 2 games he has adjusted, as he knows like anybody else, that it is an immediate win we need.
