Is it pathetic? The vast majority of people on here that you assume want to prop up Ange just want to win a trophy.
I personally couldn't give a shit if Mason led the team out, or Ange, or the tea lady, as long as we win.
We havent won a trophy in 17 years, haven't won a European trophy in 4 decades. Yet 'fans' like you are trying to diminish the achievement by calling it the scrabble cup and a worthless trophy thats easy to win. That is pathetic.
De Zerbi was already struggling at Brighton by the time he left. Don't think he's anything special and he's a total weapon
I like his style of play mainly because Brighton was always able to break out quickly from the buildup and was creative in the final third. I think the negatives with him are the possibility the league caught up with him in Year Two and his disposition. He's volatile and might not stay anywhere that long. If he couldn't get along with management at Brighton, due to their not getting him the players he wanted, how would he like working for Levy? But, it's all speculation. Postecoglou still has the job and may even get to keep it.
Sean, the proper fan, establishes a purity test and calls out the scumbags for being rude to Ange and the players.

you're misrepresenting what i've said. i'm arguing with the people who are propping up ange and not the 'vast majority' who want to win a trophy while not propping up ange. i want to win a trophy and that's what it will be, a trophy. there's no need to diminish it but there's also no reason to overstate its significance which is what the weekend at ange's folks are doing.
winning this will be great and take some of the sting out of this miserable season and a half under ange but it won't erase it. ange can fuck off into the sun win or lose for what he's done here. he's a disgrace

People who can’t separate disliking Ange no matter what and not over inflating the teams we’ve beaten in order to big him up & still wanting us to win are also insane.
I hate this coach. His work this season is abysmal. It’s amazing we’re in a final but practically speaking no coach should survive because they had a cup run consisting of AZ, Frankfurt, Bodo and this United side.
It does not prove him a good manager. It does not show that we will build on this cup. We might be able to ride that wave to go and get a better coach but let’s not be sucked in to the same error Chelsea made with Di Matteo or United made with Ten Haag.
Not that we’ve won the final yet. The way some posters are crowing about Ange you’d think it was done. Weirdly arrogant. United are by a country mile the best team we would have beaten in this competition, and no Frankfurt are not better.
If we do win it - sack him, use the trophy + extra CL money to hire an actually good coach. Sadly from the shite the club is putting out lately I fear we keep him, in which case we will be in a similar position next season.
