This time last year he was moaning about us not wanting to win EVERY game even if it meant handing that lot a league title. Now we are 17th and he is excusing every defeat like he is forfeiting it for the greater good of the cup final. Nice winning mentality you have there Ange. What changed?

Excuse whatever happens in the EL final. I want him 'in charge' for that final game against Brighton so he can fully own this disgrace of a season from start to the finish. Give him the lap of dishonour. No caretaker should have the embarrassment of taking that on. Then sack him as he comes back into the tunnel Abramovich/Ancelotti style and good riddance.

No chance.

By all metrics in the league, we are heading for a relegation battle next season if Ange is still here. There is not a single bit of evidence that he's on the verge of turning it around at all, it's just got worse and worse. We are like the titanic heading towards the iceberg.

If drastic chances aren't made in the summer, I really fear for us next season. That isn't hyperbole, it's based on a very large sample size of results.

Ange is the master of using any excuse under the sun. Last season he moaned we didn't have enough games. This season it's been too many games, then it was too many injuries, and he said when players come back we'd start winning, then that didn't happen so he started saying, Europe is the focus instead and we have too many games. He's just wheeled out every single thing he can, to excuse himself of his failings. Anyone with a brain knew the injury excuse earlier in the season was a load of bollocks, but quite a few gimps fell for it, more the fool them.

There isn't a cat in hells chance, the board and Levy decide to stick with Ange. He hasn't just failed in the league, it's been a disgrace.

It would be unfathomable if the club decided to go again with him.

based on what? Winning a very weak Europa League? that's madness.

No, if we win it, the club will say thanks for the trophy Ange, but off you go. We will hire someone competent to take us forward and manage us in the CL.

If we lose, Ange will be sacked before he gets on the plane home.

Love him or loathe him ; Ange won’t be here next year. Live with it .

Equally ; do whatever you can ; prayers , incantations. sacrifices etc ; to ensure he leaves on a winning note and can justify his own hype of
« always winning a trophy in my second season « .

Please God it comes true .

He and we would be delighted with that . It would be the ultimate
win-win .

I’m not making excuses for Ange. He is out of his depth and has to go. It’s a shambles. But when I try and explain the tragicomedy to spanish friends when they ask me quite fairly ‘WTF?! Spurs?’ I say that in order for angeball to even maybe work he needs 11 perfect players for the system. In fact 22. Because it causes so many injuries. It’s a farce
THERE IS NO FUCKING SYSTEM!

he spins shit to gaslight idiots. hes clearly made a career out of it. to be fair the world is full of idiots, this cunt has gotten away with murder these last 2 years. should have been sacked after chelsea 9 men! anyone who has half a brain cell and understands the game knew then what this clown was about.

I know we were expected to lose all these league games and are resting nearly our full first team. BUT its sad what Ange has done to this club. Losing is just acceptable.

So many gutless performances like this across the season. Where we just accept we will lose. Ange standing lifeless on the sideline. Its just sad to watch.

I suspect it will take the next manager a good year to sort this squad out and repair them mentally. Whoever it is I’m not going to be expecting much. Perfect really, nothing Levy likes more than lowering people’s expectations.

We've lost the majority of our matches in the PL.

It's been our worst league season in 45 years (in ppg).

It's going to be our worst league finish in 50 years.

On top of that - we were just as shit in the final 6-7 months of last season, it was just covered up by an aberrantly flying start.

There's no reason to keep Ange, and Levy has no cover for keeping him. He should have to pay for his own flight home and not be invited to the parade. If he's still got the job June 1, the CFT mob should burn the stadium down.
So many people fail to see or remember this.

We are bottom of the form table below southampton!

Only won 2 games v Ipswich and southampton since the middle of February. It’s farcical.
Apart from relegation in the 70s, I think this time under ange has been the lowest point it has been as a Tottenham fan for me.
Amazingly, he could still win a trophy next week, and yes, we will take it, but there isn't much to celebrate in all honesty.
Really concerned over the future of this club and the direction it's heading in.

I think there is the risk we become the new Everton, that this isnt a one off season. Getting Postecoglou and the coaching team out for someone even vaguely competent will help but we're talking adding another 25 to 30 pts a season to make us even semi competitive. Its a huge ask. If we get the next appointment wrong i'm not sure i see many sides we push ahead of, Wolves and West Ham maybe.
