Trix on SC said this morning that

Fwiu and posted back of house on Sunday, my man still thinks he will go.

From the conversations I have had it looks to me like some don't think he should stay at all, others aren't sure, but no one of significance is out and out fighting his corner.

It's all appears to be very complicated, and I don' think it's looking good for him personally. The club also has to look at far more than just the trophy. He has the squad on his side, and also a vocal section of the fan base, but fwiu Paratici wants someone in line with his way of thinking and working, and wants to literally upgrade everything back of house, just as he did with academy. Add to this Sponsors have been pissed off for months(although they can't have been unhappy with the cup and subsequent CL qualification), season ticket sales are down, and the squad shape is a real mess. He's now saying he wants to recruit a bunch of experienced players for next season but had agreed last season to use a conveyor belt approach and the two ideologies won't meet in the middle unfortunately.

I don't know where we go from here because good will is in short supply from the fans to Levy so how much he will want to upset the apple cart is anyone's guess, but if Paratici does get the autonomy he has been negotiating for months to get, Ange will go imo.

I must add all this was heard prior to any meeting that supposedly took place with Ange and Daniel on Sunday evening. So if that happened, and things changed at that point I don't know.

Also worth adding that Ally Gold said there was no meeting on Sunday between Levy and Ange. So if the above is accurate. And to me it does make logical sense. I think Ange is gone.

I reckon Levy is waiting for the Cup win glow to dimmer a bit before we say goodbye to Ange. He was never sacking him immediately after the season ended. Not when we won a trophy last week.

Plus he isn’t going to sack Ange when he’s in holiday. I think Ange will go once Vinai and Paratici are on board. They start 1st July apparently. Then Levy can avoid the fans blowback by making out the decision to get rid of Ange is Vinai’s and Fabs.

The more I think about it the more I’ll be amazed if Ange is kept on. The league form has been horrendous. He should have been sacked several times over.
So basically a load of bollocks then.

How Embarrassing for Tottenham Hotspurs FC front office they can't manage a team successfully as some American hollyweird actor now leading a minor club upwards two levels 🥸

Paraciti appealed his original worldwide ban.

Paratici has appealed the ruling and has seen his punishment partially reduced. While he is still banned from entering dressing rooms and negotiating with players or agents, he is now free to attend training sessions and perform administrative work behind the scenes.

"FIFA has upheld the appeal presented by Fabio Paratici against the provision of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee which, in extending the temporary inhibition imposed by the FIGC worldwide, extended it to a ban on taking part in any activity linked to football," a statement from Paratici's legal team read.

Paraciti has been seen at Spurs matches etc and no doubt talks to Levy and other senior figures at Spurs. So no reason why he hasn't given Levy advice on Ange in advance of him returning to full time duties on 1 July which is when he can once again talk to players and agents.

Very few players are signed at the start of a transfer window, and I'm sure Lange and others will be talking/negotiating with a number of players in certain positions that Spurs might want - its usual to talk to maybe half a dozen players for each position. So Spurs are not particularly wasting time in transfer market, particularly with a lot of players (and managers) taking their 3 week break after the end of the season.

If the decision is to keep Ange, there is no need to make an announcement and we'll probably find out when a player says he signed for Spurs after talking to Ange or Ange appoints additional coaches or club announcements talk about Ange involvement in preseason planning or similar - Ange had a 4 year contract, so 2 years still to run.

If the decision is to appoint an alternative coach, it wouldn't surprise me if buzz about winning EL is allowed to die down a little so maybe an announcement of a new coach and Ange going in 2nd or 3rd weeks of June.

So I'm not expecting any news immediately.

He'll go down as a legend for the Europa

But this guy cannot be allowed to take us into next season

He couldn't manage Prem and Europa , how the hell is he going to manage Prem and champions league ?

It will be injuries every week again , he'll have us in a relegation battle and we'll be counting on three woeful sides to bail us out
Legend? Bollocks to that.

Is Ramos or Graham a legend? He won a trophy, that’s nice. He’ll be remembered for doing next to fuck all apart from that.

Chatting to neutral fans at work today, the general consensus is that it would be crazy to sack the manager who finally delivered a trophy and European football next season, I'm of the same thinking however the league form does worry me so I can see the other side other side of the argument, the thing that worries me more though is if We sack Ange now, firstly I have no faith in Levy getting the next appointment right and if your the new guy in the job then straight away your fucking off the cups to concentrate on top 4/5.
Its a really tough decision to make for Levy and I think as a fan base we are split, so whatever he chooses will piss people of!

So typical innit- first European trophy in 40 years, Champions League and Super Cup to play for..and we don't know if we're keeping the manager haha

Injury Crisis - caused by Ange 'its who we are mate!'
Both also beat better teams in their respective finals than we did. You have to ask yourself how hard was it to beat 15th place Man utd as opposed to champions Liverpool and top 5 Man City

We knocked Man City out of the EFL Cup (and thrashed them in the EPL).

We beat Liverpool in the first leg. May have been a different result in the 2nd leg if we had our best squad available.

If the injury crisis is all down to Ange - please explain Sessegnon, Lamela, Lo Celso, Ndombelly, Dier, Dele, Rose, Kane, Romero (he missed more matches in the 21/22 season under Conte).

Spurs have a long history of injuries to key players - and an inability to get them back to full fitness after injury. An injury crisis lost Mourinho his job; and arguably hurt our chances in the Champions League final.

As for Ange, this is reminding me and more of the mess Man Utd made with ten hag last year and I think it will end the same way - him staying.

What this season has shown is the problems at United are nothing to do with the Manager. Ten Haag, Amiron - these aren't poor coaches. The club is in a total mess. Overspent and under achieved. Ageing facilities and living on past glories.

The difference is, Ange has bonded with the squad and created a group of players and staff that will die for each other. This is a solid foundation to build something special.

At United, players are giving interviews calling out the club and other players. Asking to leave.

At Spurs players are backing the manager and declaring their love for the club and the journey ahead.

Like I said in my previous post, I can see both sides - just being 17th doesn't tell the whole story, we have been absolute garbage but he has also done something that Poch, Jose & Conte failed to do and that is actually win us a trophy.

Oh, it does.

Name me one manager (including double and treble winners) who have managers that have "sacrificed" PL position for a Cup win.

Name me just one, who has forgone winning in the PL for a single Cup?
