That sweet devastation in his voice. lol
I'm here for it.
How cocky these cunts were when MGW fell through.
'Ave some of that, you cunts.

Game of opinion. I thought Ange had us playing brilliant football when he had his perfect conditions (a week between games and a fully fit squad). In my opinion, his biggest issue was that he showed zero adaptability when he didn't have his perfect conditions.
I think he'll start well at Forest. I'll be cheering for them this weekend against Woolwich anyway! If the entire backline gets injured and he doubles down on his attacking philosophies again then yes he's just not cut out for the top level. This forest stint will answer alot of unanswered questions about Ange. Everyone has an opinion and some strongly believe he was at fault for everything last season including our injury list. I think some of it is debatable and this Forest stint will offer the answers.
Apart from the last ~7 games of the first season when we had very few injuries, only the PL, and only managed wins vs relegated Luton, Burnley and Sheffield United, and 4 defeats.Game of opinion. Most probably because what kind of club sacks a manager after winning the EL!Just checked and no manager has ever won back to back Europa league titles at 2 different clubs.

Shocking. He didn't adapt our tactics when we were missing 7 or 8 starters in most league games. What about the other twenty two losses.
How "brilliant" were they?
Fair point. Some of them performances were pathetic. Felt like we were on the beach even though the top 4 race was wide openApart from the last ~7 games of the first season when we had very few injuries, only the PL, and only managed wins vs relegated Luton, Burnley and Sheffield United, and 4 defeats.
This is the fascinating tension of the situation.
Add in the Edu element and it’s a proper soap opera. Funniest bit is I bet they actually will play well for some of the season too, it won’t be all misery. They have now jumped to #1 on my must watch list behind us, if only for the sheer potential of it all blowing up.This is the fascinating tension of the situation.
Really is popcorn time.
Because Marinakis will do a Leverkusen/Ten Hag on him (after collecting a couple toes) if things go left, but Ange will want to cling onto his "it's just who we are" brand.
The internal struggle he's about to experience is gonna be wild.
Not sure an "I sacrificed the league to concentrate on the EL" punt will go down well with Prince Vultan.![]()
That still stings me, we only finished 2 pts behind Villa! A better manager would’ve got us over the line imo. Everyone rightfully goes on about last season but some of the losses we had in 23/24 were a joke. Wolves home and away, Brighton away, getting completely slapped by Fulham after putting 4 past Villa away. Just terrible.Fair point. Some of them performances were pathetic. Felt like we were on the beach even though the top 4 race was wide open
Fuck me I forgot about Edu. omg hahaAdd in the Edu element and it’s a proper soap opera. Funniest bit is I bet they actually will play well for some of the season too, it won’t be all misery. I think Ange will do well there. He'll get them playing on the front foot and they've some very good players. Nuno probably took them as far as he could as his style is very limited.
Ange feels like boom or bust but that owner will back him heavily in January so I reckon they'll have a strong season. I fully expect them to play us off the park home and away now but maybe we'll punish their high line and steal a result
VDV saved our bacon. As much as I hate to say it, a better team would have beaten us that night, Man Utd had basically been as garbage as us most of the season.
I really hope that the love for Ange is now finally gone.
Says everything if he is ready to work with a person like Marinakis.
