I am loving this Ange football stuff. Really loving the attacking aspect of it.

Watched both of the preseason matches so far and there is a lot of positives to be found. I think Ange has a great positive attitude out go out there, you can do it. A bit like Jol and his "lets do business" and really started the upward trend of where are now.

But it all means the square-root of naff all if Levy doesn't actually support him, though.

I get we are not like Man City who can go out and buy anyone they want, money no problem, but we are not a poor outfit surviving on basement bargins either. We are one of the richest clubs in the world.

Ange, if Levy used his brains, is the perfect manager that fits a model of bringing through the best of our youth and wisely spending money on targeted world class players in positions that we are weak and need strengthening, that youth can't provide. This model is the only way Spurs can compete.

Levy has always put money in. The problem is he has squandered it on players managers will never play or not what we actually need. We are financially limited, but we are also so wasteful with what financial resources we do have at our disposal. This is where Levy has utterly failed us IMO.

If Levy, just let the footballing side run itself, got ride of all the dead wood, under Ange I feel we are x2 CB's from pushing for a top 4 and maybe some excellent cup runs.

But I fear Levy won't, he will get the players he thinks we need and not what the Ange needs and this will be a waste.

As what I have seen so far on the pitch, is really really positive, I love it and it's bringing the good vibes back and I just can't wait to see us play Ange football again.

I'm calm.

I'm also realistic.

I expect nothing from Spurs while ENIC remain in charge.

The day will come when ENIC are no longer calling the shots.

Until then we will all have to endure it as best we can.

I do get it and obviously you're well within your rights to feel however you want to about it.

I'm also a spurs fans and have experienced other spurs fans not giving time and patience to our managers and players to the added detriment of the team.

I'm a realist too. I've had a season ticket for many years and have spent way too much times on forums like this hearing so called fans slagging off new players and managers just cos they are a little bit sad because we let in a goal or didn't beat a team they think we should have, or misplaced a few passes.

If our owners aren't going anywhere, I'd like to give out team the best chance of winning things as I can in spite of them, and part of that is supporting the team even when the chips are down.

Players, coaches and managers come and go.

The supporters are in it forever.

ENIC have a shelf life as owners.

They're out of date.

I look at the shambles Spurs are at the moment and it is a very similar situation to the one George Graham inherited under the Sugar regime.

The squad was a mish mash of poor signings from the Ossie Ardiles, Gerry Francis and Christian Gross managerial appointments.

The process that Graham began, in September 1998, took until 2005 to put right.

As a club we were continually fire fighting with the starting 11.

Graham built a team that could avoid getting into the relegation trouble we had been flirting with.

Hoddle tinkered with the style of play but couldn't progress the club from mid table.

Jol made real progress with the help of Frank Arnesen.

Levy & ENIC's ownership has taken us back to this period from a position of strength.

In respect of the football operation; ENIC are a busted flush.

So if you agree that because of the owners we are 'fire fighting' with the starting 11 that the manager and players need fans to be the extra man and get behind the team during the regardless of who is playing or gets subbed on?

When I attended matches I never booed the team ever.

I think a forum, such as TFC, is the perfect platform to discuss these matters and I am grateful that those running this excellent site allow everyone the freedom to express opinions of all shades.

Everyone should be allowed to express their views in an honest way.

When's Lenny Hatchet getting out?

While I'm sure Ange is a nice guy, I'm finding it difficult to get behind him for the simple reason that he's not going to be here long. Its not worth getting emotionally invested in a guy that will only be here short term. Let's face facts, Levy is not going to buy the players Ange needs and he'll be fired before Christmas.

Sad but true

If Levy sacks Ange this season, he has to walk himself.

He has one option as Chairman and that's making sure Ange works out.

We could be bottom by Xmas and I'd want Levy gone before Ange. The man hasn't coached a serious game for us yet.

Let's face facts
Sad but true

You're cry wanking was an "end of" short of a climax. Put your back into it, man.

Would you want Levy gone if you had tits?

How about if you didn’t?
I’m happy for ENIC to go.

I don’t want a Woolwich fan (Jay-Z) or a United fan (Radcliffe) as owner and I’d prefer not to have a bunch of corrupt Qataris who, if PSG is anything to go by, couldn’t run a bath.

Unlike some of the posters here, I understand that new ownership, unless it’s a petrostate, isn’t going to solve our problems. That’s why I prefer the the posters who outright advocate for medievalist ownership as long as they can deliver a couple of Community Shield trophies. Poch fans won’t remember that we went through much the same self-flagellation towards the end of the Sugar era. I’m not sweating it this time or next time around. Try to enjoy the football — it promises to be better than it has been.

How could you possibly understand that?
