Standing by your football philosophy is one thing, but seeing your team battered game after game is unhealthy.

We're just got stuffed like a lower league side in yet another game. We don't play good football, haven't for months. Where are players he specifically wanted at? Maddison, Johnson, Werner? Absolute shite at the moment. What about defence that's up there with the best in the league personnel wise? Why are they shifting goals so the games are done before half time whistle if blown?

Genuine question, for those familiar with Ange’s career.

Has he ever ingrained swashbuckling, successful football in a group of players who are *not* the best in the league?

I.E Does he make a team more than the sum of its parts, or is he simply good with good parts?

Next big thing? I just want us to hire a coach with practical tactics, a talent for coaching and improving players, who does not throw them under the bus, who isn’t dreaming they can force Levy to spend like he’s never spent before.

I see no evidence Ange is the next big thing either though seeing as he permits us to get shredded the same way every week.

Great post. This hasnt been a rebuild season in reality, we're no further on than we were last season, we still seemingly need to replace half the squad, apparently need new coaching staff the football isnt great and question marks over the manager. It really is just another wasted season. We've built or progressed absolutely nothing.

This is another red flag. The relaxed atmosphere, no coaching staff, no set piece coach, no dietary guidelines, pure vibes, give Mason free hand or whoever else. Total football. Except it isn't 70a anymore and you probably do need an army of professionals and scientists to help to stay afloat in this league.

It's an accomplishment, but it also doesn't hurt that the league wasn't all that strong this year.

You went from in your words giving him a billion pounds to spend after half a season to not wanting him at all 6 months later, I think that's probably a you problem, went from overrating him to underrating him in the space of a season, I think the truth is somewhere in the middle.

And we will still laugh at you for your Dyche comment because it's absolutely ludicrous :p

Each one of us Spurs fans have their coping mechanisms and I admire your blind positivity, never change mate
 
To those who say a manager needs time, I agree. But it has to be the right manager. Based on the last twenty something games, I can't really say that I believe Ange is the guy. We play like we are winging it. Even in the first ten games, we heavily relied on the opposition missing good chances.

We were barely winning against bottom teams by 1 goal and we weren't playing good football. Seeing how his manager career panned out after he left shows we made the right decision on him.
