Some people on here need to look at the clubs motto. Is it BS or does it actually mean something? A lot of what I'm reading is that people are too afraid to go up against the most successful clubs and are happy to just sit in Tottenham's corner fighting for 4th place.
Did you see our last few games and does it fill you win confidence of not only cruising to 4th next season (which is losers mentality as you imply) but actually achieving glory and go up the most successful clubs as you put it. No irony, just a serious question.

How is Levy justified in sacking any of his managers? He charges fans title winning prices, pays players mid-table wages, and thinks he has a right to sack any manager out of the CL places before the end of the season. Conte was right about it being a miracle when he got us top 4.
The problem isn't sacking them, he has to sack them or else they'll take us down.
The problem is that he either employs useless idiots like this one or doesn't back the good ones.

I would not have sacked Pochettino whilst he was still in the Champions League and outside the relegation places. I don't think Leicester were right to sack Ranieri either. Owners rarely give managers the chance to recover from selling their best players. I think a smart owner does give a manager a season as it holds the owner accountable.
Good job you're not a PL chairman then as you'd be getting your team relegated.

Even our shit form since December wouldn't have us near the relegation places so let's not get silly.

Who is this person that you think would do better than Nuno, Mourhino, Conte and Postecoglou?

And are they available?

And would they come?

And would they have got us any higher than fifth in their very first Premier League season?

The easiest thing to do is to change the manager and hope for the best - meaning we'll have yet another transitional season, no clear plan and a hotchpotch team that would have been assembled by 5 different managers.

Or

We could keep the faith knowing that it was always going to be a shit time with a new manager with a new way of thinking and having just lost one of the Premier Leagues greatest strikers of all time and not really replaced him.

He brought in VDV, Vicario, Dragusin, Maddison, Johnson, Solomon and loaned Werner on his watch so I'd say four out of his five signings weren't too bad. He also put Udogie straight into the side.

So I'd say four out of his first five signings have been pretty good. The jury is still out on Solomon but he played most of the games in our brilliant ten game start to the season.
Postecoglou has lost the squad and has no tactics whatsoever.

Literally anyone with the ability to deploy something resembling tactics will do better than him now he's been found out.

Yet... in his first season we are nowhere near the championship.

If we sack him we will be doing the same thing next season.

The culture at the club needs changing, it's the managers fault why the season before went to shit in players minds.... It's a perfect excuse for the never ending unaccountability.

There is a serious problem at the club... It's all a bit too nice someone needs to rip it up I think Ange Postecoglou has the right idea and personality to do that.
Because of the first 10 games. Since then his lack of tactical training, or adaptability has seen us first look bad when we win and now just get battered every week.

I genuinely can't understand how there are spurs fans, who have seen this play out that can't see it again.
He's done. He probably doesn't want to change it now.

I think it’s only fair because we are all guilty of “things”…and short memories and jerking knees are popular round these parts…

We all need to give the man some time and some respect

Yeah, mate. Ya know, before he managed to undo all the tactics and training his squad came into the season with, having not played for him before, mate.

This guy makes Redknapps "run around a bit" seem like a combination of Pep, Wenger and Fergie rolled into one.

He's fucking clueless and ruined a decent squad of players to the point they don't know what the fuck they're doing.

Jump on a plane back to Oz and take him with you.

I honestly think U have some players who have fallen out with him behind the scenes. Example celso the new center back and even royal to an extent maddison don't look happy and is about burst sooner or later.

Spot on. This we dont give managers a chance thing is a red herring. Who has been sacked by us and gone on to achieve anything in a meaningful league? Jol had probably run his course but was sacked in a disgraceful manner, Redknapp was insinuations for non football reasons but harsh on the face of it , Poch was exhausted with it all having to make do and mend, Conte didnt want to be here and pulled the plug himself. All the rest were piss poor appointments and deserved the sack. Only Poch has the possibility to come back and haunt us and its interesting to see how Chelsea have improved over the season but still inconsistant.

Where were the cries to give Sherwood more time? Or AVB? Or Nuno? There was nothing because they weren't right for us and were leading us or were going to lead us into trouble. So a difficult and possibly harsh call was made but they were all correct.

All they're gonna do is move the goalposts

"Well we still conceded a goal of a set piece"
"Yeah but he was bought in to win trophies"
"He's still playing the high line"

I know this forum :sonpoint:
