Our fanbase is so mentally weak that any sniff of success, they're looking to bring the club down by bringing up us bottling things in the past and using the word Spursy or crying at the smallest dip in form.

I absolutely loathe the fucking Scousers, but their fanbase are so over the top and hyperbolic with their team, manager and club that it almost resonates with all involved.

This is a tangent, but the fact that any Spurs fan would use the word Spursy without irony drives me crazy. It shows a weakness and desperation to appease rival fans that I just can't get behind.

Also, I'm yet to see a legit definition of the word. Does it mean when we play well and fall short? Does it mean we're just shit? Does it mean when we throw something away? Does it just mean when something doesn't go in our favour due to bad luck? It's just a silly word that changes to suit whatever agenda the user has.

That's our best performance against a big team during this terrible run-in so he's choosing a strange moment to throw his toys out the pram.

The "inside" bit is interesting though, wonder what that refers to.

Spot on, been saying this for ages, so many fucking saps in our fanbase who are attracted to negativity and just generally enjoy being 'Spursy'

This is the thing - I understand his frustration but tonight was such a unique situation that I don't think the fans should be lambasted when we're generally very supportive of the team, including that Chelsea game you're referring to.

Get us into some cup finals. Get us up at the top where this would have been a must win game. The fans will give you want you apparently want then.

Yeah it was an ‘ interesting exercise’ watching wolves take 6 points off us this season. Watching Woolwich go three up in thirty minutes, watching players jog about at Stamford bridge.

A self loathing fanbase that almost will on the whole "bottling" narrative that surrounds the club.

Manager comes along that wants to change that and not scared to call it out and they can't handle it.
