Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Not that i want him gone or the embarrassment of another manager but I think come November he is done. I see the rot spreading into the new season.

none of it offends me. I've accepted the fact that we have a manager that doesn't truly get it and i don't feed into the hyperbole of 'Big Ange'

One thing I'm good at in real life is assessing someone's character and I see him as an extremley arrogant person that uses charm and his 'jokey'' nature to hide it. Conte unfortunately had a language barrier issue that didn't allow him the luxury of being able to get away with it for so long but 'Big Ange' mate routine won't work for much longer and the mask will eventually fall for the majority.

It's good you can use laughing emojis when I'm talking about our rivals who have proceeded to dismantle us in our own pitch 2 seasons running and are challenging for the league. Unfortunately I live in Islington so I can't see anything funny about it. I'll still wear my numerous spurs tops and my spurs cap through Angel, Holloway, Finsbury Park, Highbury and Islington, Essex Rd when our manager downplays rivarlies and uses our lack of trophies as a way to get his point across. Thanks 'Mate'.
I feel you your pain. Living where I do(N11/N22 border) is bad enough, but 30years back I lived in Finsbury park. It was hell, football speaking. Liked the area, that aside.

If not wanting your rivals to win in a game like this implies some kind of rot in a club, then pretty much every football club is rotten. Doesn't stop many of them being successful and winning trophies.

You realise he's actually talking about out fans like YOU
Fans happy to accept years of mediocrity and fans happy to see us bumble around with no intent and winning fuck all.

He's calling you out mate for the pussyhole losers that you and others like you are and you're drinking it up. .:roflmao:

This can't be the person who gets upset and disappears from this forum when we win. surely not?

The same person who has selective outrage and is vehemently ENIC out but has never shown up to a protest in his life or even tried to bother attempting to be part of a movement and is happy to sit behind his keyboard throwing shade, that's the very definition of a coward.

Nah what is this? 😆

How was that abuse? It's literally a fact that they'd be singing his name for decades had he won last night. We'd never live it down and the relationship between the manager and fans would be completely broken.

To answer your question, I would rather win the Europa League than finish above Woolwich but would rather finish above Woolwich than win the League or FA Cups. Winning a cup isn't gonna change this clubs fortune as much as competing at the top end of the league will. Yeah last night was tinpot, but so was the Chelsea fans who celebrated the Battle of the Bridge, the next season they won the title. You can change the mood and mentality of a fanbase by winning games. Last nights lack of support was 100% a reflection on how poorly the team has performed since Christmas, and they should be embarrassed about it.
My apologies,
I thought I replying to someone else.

Seeing a lot of wet gussets on here tonight. Mainly along the lines of “how dare he have a go at us loyal fans!”.

Mainly from posters who spend their life calling him a fat Aussie cunt from a tinpot league, ripping the piss out of our players and owners and making hilarious jokes about gokarts.

Wouldn’t know loyalty if it were stapled to their taint. And have now clutched their collective pearls. Fucking state of some of you.

As for the cunts in the ground doing the fucking poznan - couldn’t have looked more smalltime.
I do agree there’s a crucial difference between wanting city to win and actively cheering their goals

This kinda shit doesn’t help either - bellend

Some are saying on here he's surprised people are happy for their own team to lose.
If that's the case then this means the club hierarchy asked him to throw the game which is hard to believe. The club asked him to lose in the last 48 hours? I don't believe that.

Fans wanting to lose last night got nothing to do with him or the club, he should do his job just like the players.

"Foundation is fragile" comment is very concerning and why make it public. If he's to stay beyond this season then he should have kept quiet and work with club to sort the foundation but I think he's leaving in the summer.

Whatever it is, he should have kept his mouth shut unless he wanted to do Conte and leave the club.

Disappointing post match interview from another Spurs manager.

I think he got it wrong. This was a unique situation, fans have been top draw all season even in our big defeats. Concentrate on what he can control and he can fix, he absolutely has to win the game, he is paid to do so no issue with that. Fans and professionals are not the same, they come and go we are stuck for life. It’s not a big thing in the grand scheme of things, I think he is an emotional guy and got caught up in it all. I hope he at least understands that in every way this is the biggest job of his career by far and he will need mental toughness and patience if he is to survive.
Fuany actually, he probably should've been calling out the fans as a bunch of losers after we happy clapped our way through a home battering by Chelsea.

Didn't seem to mind our loser mentality when it was overtly in his favour though.

:ange-facepalm:

I hope you leave in the summer

I don’t care about the post match comments. He should be frustrated after a loss and he’s said some things he might regret this morning when clearly wound up.

Back to the actual football - I see plenty of positives to take in to next season and a style of play which should improve considerably with better players.

Think everyone needs to chill out and untwist their knickers. Let him crack on with rebuilding the squad this summer and we go again next season

What pisses me off is that any fan who takes any interest in our game could tell you that the team he put yesterday would have got:

a win at Barcodes
a win at FFC
a draw with Goons
a draw at Chavs

We've blown 8 pts. With a win at Sheff Utd we'd finish on 74 and 4th spot comfortably from Villa. 10 games ago it looked likely we'd finish on 72-73.

I cannot understand how he can't see that the high back line becomes suicidal if you've Davies as LB. Or AN Other.

We know Dragusin's decent and pacy. Bleedin obvious to use him so that VDV can shore up the left with his pace in defence and his beaut of a left foot in attack crossing or shooting.

A real opportunity missed and it's entirely a managerial decision.

He'll get next season I'm sure and I always say that unless it's a Christian Gross or Ardiles shitshow then the manager gets 2 seasons. In Ange Paratici we trust
