"I mean, you just think about our transfers. If I’d got even one of them wrong, if I’d got Vicario wrong, Van de Ven wrong, Maddison "

Udogie wasn't signed last summer so it'd be weird to mention him

"If we didn’t get the best out of Pedro [Porro] and [Cristian] Romero and [Yves] Bissouma, it could've been a very different year, "
None of those were signed last summer either.

Sure you can argue he got the "best out of" Udogie, but he sure as hell had nothing to do with signing him. All credit to the Teflon Don for that one.
See above.

Why are you talking about the players already here when he himself specifically said transfers?

That is why I said what I said about him sounding like he's taking credit for VDV, Vicario & Maddison but oddly fails to mention the right winger he spunked £50m on.

Because you said he didn't mention Brennan and somehow in your wonderful world of doom melt assumptions that means he doesn't think he got Brennan right.

So I said he also didn't mention Udogie in the list of players already here that he got the best out of. Are you also assuming that he doesn't think he got good things from Udogie? or is it possible he just didn't mention every player in either list?

Well there are lots of players that played during the season that he could mention whereas there were only 4 transfers that played during the season so seems more significant to me that he forgets to mention the most expensive one but hey must be just my wonderful world of doom melt assumptions.

I think we look far too naive under Ange. Our games are like basketball games, you have a go we have a go.

Our defence is far too open, teams only need one pass and they are 1 v 1 against our backline.

I hope I am wrong but it just feels like this season will be more of the same as we saw last season. I think we will be on the end of some big defeats and I just can't see how we will close the gap to the top sides with this system he uses.

He will be under massive pressure if we start the season with some hammerings.

Not sure why Ange hasn't gone to a back 3 like Poch 16/17. Squad is perfect for it and gives extra man to cover the spaces. I like Ange. But have to admit with this set up it could go very wrong quickly

Now look don't shoot the messenger but all I see is a fat blusterer who won't last the season. I shuddered at how K Pop cut us open and don't say Mickey and Cuti missing the cutting open was before CB.
I 💯 hope I am wrong just saying it how I see it.
How many goals conceded this season?

Our midfield in the centre is totally lacking in defensive and offensive cohesion, which leads our backline to be so unbelievably exposed and our wingers to come in too central too often as a result, leaving so many pockets of space for the opposing team to easily play through.

It's definitely the system. We just don't look like a team that is on the verge of doing something great, we don't look solid. We just look so open and lacking control.

I can't get away from the worry that Ange is totally out of his depth, time will tell.

AI summary, not reading all that.
  • Transfer Plans: Postecoglou is actively looking to bring in new players before the transfer window closes. His focus is on securing long-term success for the club rather than opting for short-term solutions. This approach aims to build a robust squad capable of competing at the highest level consistently.

Why we're after Solanke.

Totally adds up.
