hes just backed this clown with 350m. i think hell be expecting CL football as a return.I think they will stick with him, doubt the club will finish high, but I don't think that bothers levy or ENIC they couldn't care less.

Agreed. Levy has been able to get a break from the criticism he was getting when Conte, Nuno, and Mourinho were here. Postecoglou has put on a good show on the pitch and is an entertaining character off it. That's not enough for us here on this board, but most fans are not that hard core about it. If you took a poll of the paying customers, they are more happy than that. That makes it easy to stay with Postecoglou.I think they will stick with him, doubt the club will finish high, but I don't think that bothers levy or ENIC they couldn't care less.
Did you read my preceding post at all, I already addressed this before - Ange has to take small blame for this performance.
But these same players were playing like Barcelona for 45 mins, you weren't complaining then were you and rightly so...the team he picked was more than capable of doing the job, what happened after was inexplicable and something that should be shouldered on the players more than the manager.
We can't put two wins together in the league mate, others are better than us.hes just backed this clown with 350m. i think hell be expecting CL football as a return.
What an incredibly stupid argument. None of us here are "better managers" than Tim Sherwood or Frank Lampard either, doesn't mean we can't critique them or call their decisions fucking moronic. Not to say we can’t question him or he won’t make mistakes, but neither of us are a better manager than he is.
You have a few people on here that can barely form a logical argument that are questioning his intelligence. What an incredibly stupid argument. i know. but surely levy is looking at it now and will be thinking of his next move. hes backed this guy far harder than he should have, another levy fuckup! this money should have been spent with conte in charge not this pleb. the results since chelsea have been shite, on top of that hes embarrassing himself in the press with his comments on numerous things. he must be under pressure now. levy has backed this guy far harder than any other manager...hell be expecting CL football as a result, theres no chance of that happening, he needs to act soon. this squad is capable, the manager isnt.We can't put two wins together in the league mate, others are better than us.
Small blame? Lol
Answer me this. Who is responsible for the half time team talk and any tactical changes? Also, who is responsible for making (or in this case not making) any tactical changes during a game?
If we play really well in the first half and come out in the second half playing like a bunch of puppets after the managers team talk, surely that's on the manager?
This result?? I literally gave you our form over the previous 12 calendar months and explained why he's not good enough based on that.
Look, I get it. Ange is a fun guy who says "mate" a lot, but the form table blatantly tells us he's not good enough. Take your head out of the sand and embrace reality
True they are the support base that levy wants in the ground, eat and drink, but not overly concerned about seeing the club push on similar to levy in that aspect.Agreed. Levy has been able to get a break from the criticism he was getting when Conte, Nuno, and Mourinho were here. Postecoglou has put on a good show on the pitch and is an entertaining character off it. That's just who we are mate.2-0 up, why not drop the line and nullify Brightons pace and look to counter?
Why continue the same high line and risks that come with it.
Udogie was quite clearly not fit. Insane decision not to start either Spence or Gray, both of whom have been in great form recently. Then there's also the option of VDV, bringing Dragusin into CB, or Davies and playing him as a more conventional fullback. Lots of options but that would involve some lateral thinking and flexibility from our resident clown-in-a-suit, which we all know he's incapable of.Udogie is struggling on the pitch both from a technical aspect and mental aspect. How is he not the first player subbed off?
Agree we rushed udogie back. Such a shit mistake he conceded for first goal. Pub defending. That's just who we are mate.

Yeh he's a real "learner" and "adapter" this guy.
Agree with some of that. Judge him at end of season. A Trophy or top 4 for me otherwise hes failed and we then need to hire a modern elite Manager. Atm hes falling short but still earlyish in season. Not sure he will learn but think he will get the whole season.
It also gives us time to consider alternatives.
We have a top 6 squad and anything less is failure in my book.
Postecoglou is certainly not good enough to get our players into the top 3. 4th and 5th seen out of reach to me.
Right now I feel we will finish 6th to 8th. The squad lacks a strong midfielder and another striker.
And I am unsure if the manager can instill the right mentality.
He may have said 'we', but he clearly meant the players, not himself.I thought he was pretty measured in his post-match analysis considering the appalling collapse.
Everything was ‘we’ rather than digging out individuals.
I agree though, in that he should have reacted with the subs far earlier than he did.
