Impressed with the Villa game. Let's see how long we can keep this going. We are not at a bad place right now due to the goons and city losing. If we can just get some consistency and stop getting hiccups like Brighton and Palace, we can get top 4 no problem.

No, no.
Beating foreign teams that belong in L1 and Coventry who are currently 13th in the Championship doesn't do anything for our building. All it really does, is give some fans a buzz for a while. It could even be more counter productive than helpful. You get arrogant when you win. We got arrogant right up to the 2nd half against Brighton, and when they showed up they knocked us clean out. Thought we were back on track beating a dreadful West Ham and get easily beaten by winless Palace.

Hard to say now. If we got to the final and won against Coventry, a not-interested City and then United play a B team and then we have Southampton and Palace in the semi and the final, it would be hard to really be overly proud of that win.

In 1999 we beat Liverpool and Man United on the way to the final. Liverpool at Anfield.
In 2008 we beat City when we had 10 men, we Woolwich 5-1 and then Chelsea in the final.

TBH, I can't see United doing anything other than trying to go strong in the 1/4 final so my scenario is unlikely.
It's also unlikely Palace and Southampton see off Liverpool and Woolwich. So if we beat United, we're likely to have to play 1 or both of Liverpool and Woolwich to win the whole thing.
I doubt Woolwich would go weak against Us, and I reckon Slott will want an early trophy.

Sorry mate, just don't agree.

Go elsewhere then
Toxic, empty support is the last thing the club or the rest of us supporters need

I think the more he gets results like the last two, the more people who are on the fence will start to believe in his project.

The sloppy away form is the main issue it seems and that's something that can be fixed so I am not worried about that, we are currently in quite a healthy position in the league if we can fix our away form, that is a BIG if though because we know the issue with consistency that we have.

I quite enjoy when we are winning and if that means I’m a happy clapper then so be it but I’d rather be happy at winning than being an utterly miserable cunt who looks for the negatives even when it’s good.

Just letting you into a wee secret here, every win is meaningful.
looks for negatives even when its good? what 1 point ahead of 10th and losing to crystal fucking palace just over a week ago to give them their first win in 10 is considered good to you? are you simple or something? thats far from fucking good! lets see how we get on in the next 7 games as there are some actual noteworthy tests there. lets see where we are after the chelsea game and we will see if we have genuinely turned a corner.

I'm loving this rollercoaster Ange has us on. We are the most volatile team in the league at the moment, you literally can't predict any of our games.

I really wanted us to be successful under Mourinho and Conte, but a small part of me always felt dirty. Ex Chelsea managers, who were coming in to show Spurs how its done. We were sell outs, but so desperate to win that we rallied it and just became a nasty team. We were aiming to win ugly. Its a bit like what Woolwich are doing now with the dark arts, all their fans are desperate to win so approve of it for now, but deep down they feel dirty. They know they are selling out.

Ange is a breath of fresh air. If we can win something playing like this then its literally a dream come true!
you literally can't predict any of our games.……tell me about it try picking a first goal scorer or a correct score down the bookies , might as well hand over the cash no bother picking anything tell the flunky …..see ya :ange-clap:

Ok your argument makes no sense.

There is no point getting good results against the "good" teams if your not going to get your expected results against other teams

What are you taking about? There’s no argument.

Those teams have all played CL football recently. Bournemouth haven’t.

Come back to me after we have played those 4 teams away and let me know who’s got the better goal difference / conceded more goals.

It’s not whining, it’s seeing it for how it really is. Ange will be sacked In November mark my words. Take the blinkers off, it’s not like this has just started. We have been utter shite for 6 months now.
Sarcastic Joke GIF

if you play away to villa and get a clean sheet then go and concede 2 away to Bournemouth it still means they have conceded 2 goals.

It's like me saying because we didn't concede at old Trafford, conceding to Crystal Palace don't matter.

Our away form certainly isn’t title contending. He’s got to fix that before we make real progress. Right now we’re a home team, we can probably compete against anyone. Away from home we are bang average.
Thanks for agreeing with me.

If we can beat anyone at home, it means we don't have the elite mentality yet to be title contenders. But that we do have the skill and game plan.

Thankfully, our team is very young, and so that mentality is expected to be missing for now.

Make your home a fortress. The title comes after.
