Your e actually kind of right! It's the players that play the game not the fat Aussie blagger standing on the sideline doing sweet fuck all on game day.what hallmarks did he have over yesterday? maddison had the game of his spurs career that set the tone. what of the goals were a product of 'angeball'? the last two are counter attacks which is the complete opposite of what its mean to be and the first 2 were moments of individual brilliance...in fact you can sort of say the 3rd was largely down to individual brilliance from kulu while also being a part counter attacking goal.
Somehow he’s got to get these players winning 4 or 5 league games in a row. Some of the players obviously think others aren’t pulling their weight every game though going by this quote from DK:

So about 18 pages of Angebois saying "told you so"
So how about this then. You all blamed the players when we weren't good enough to beat Palace, Ipswich, Leicester etc. But they ARE good enough to beat last seasons Champions comfortably?
Both sides of this argument are as guilty as the other.
Angebois praise him when we win and tear into the players when we lose, vice versa for the doubters.
How about this for a shocking fact that needs addressing from both the players and the coach.
Wolves 2 -1 Spurs
Fulham 3 - 0 Spurs
Newcastle 2 - 1 Spurs
Brighton 3 - 2 Spurs
Spurs 1 - 2 Ipswich
Last 5 games before the international break, all losses.
In some cases some truly horrendous games.
This might be a crazy idea, but maybe it's time we bench some of the players who are not putting a shift in during the match preceding the break? The likes of Romero, Son and a few others aren't playing close to 100% in those games.
Maddison wasn't even going away on international duty and he got 4 minutes against Ipswich.
Yes the players should be motivated and give 100%, but it isn't the reality and that's where coaching comes into play.
Luckily there isn't another international break for months now so that isn't a concern.
With that in mind, I'm expecting to not see these dreadful showings for a while. And if we do, it raises more questions.

I’m sure I also read a quote from Kulu recently about the levels in training which almost made it sound a bit like some others don’t put the effort in there and it holds us back.
There seems to be something in some players wanting it and others not being too fussed, which could explain the inconsistency if true.
See I like this and I increasingly love this lad...BUT this isn't really what happened. We were better because they are oddly perfect for us. We sit deeper, we play a two man pivot with actual legs and lungs we did not invert both Porro and Udogie... and...And here is the bit that's on Ange and on Deki to be honest about. We were aided hugely by BEN DAVIS AND RADU DRAGUSIN focusing totally for 96 mins and displaying a level of professionalism absent from any centerback pairing that featured Cuti Romero all season ( even the 0-3 win over United). So what now Ange?
"I think there are a couple of factors and one is here inside the training ground," he says. "To be a champion, you have to be a champion every day. You have to give everything every day.Yeah I read the same. Was going to post it but couldn’t be bothered to search for the quote. Pretty sure it’s easy to work out who he is talking about.

"I feel we lack a little bit of discipline in terms of that consistency. That's what is missing. The quality is there, the football is there. But you have to do it every day. You can't be happy because you win a game, two games, three games. You have to win every game.
From Dejan Kulusevski exclusive interview: Tottenham's new leader and Man City's tormentor growing up and aiming high

Exactly this. It’s not been an easy ride. More than bumps in the road. But when it clicks everything about it is just wonderful to watch. I like the style we try to play. I will take the odd kick in the nads. But there’s a lot of unacceptable performances alongside those like yesterday.3 times in the last few weeks I felt we had clicked, buckle in, here we go.
Then there was Brighton, Palace and Ipswich.
Yesterday was brilliant, beat Fulham and I'm all in.
Better get him removed early before he becomes bigger
Ange did something that I don’t remember another coach doing at City yesterday and I have been calling for someone to try for a few seasons. I’ve heard lots of pundits and reports call our performance “brilliant” but so far, I’ve not read anyone identify why it was brilliant, tactically, they’ve mostly just spouted the usual football geezer cliches.
Up until we took the lead, City were dominating the ball and pitch. Then we scored in the 13th minute. What normally happens then is we (or any away side at City) would normally then shell into a deep and desperate block and pray to get out our half a couple more times.
But from the 14th minute to the 53rd when we scored our 3rd, we actually had 54% of the ball, and were pressing them in middle/higher areas, it’s how we got the second goal.
I’ve given Ange stick for his selections recently, and I’m not giving him much credit for bringing in Bissouma yesterday, because I’m not sure if he would have played him if Bentancur hadn't been suspended, but bringing Maddison back and moving Sarr over to R8 (and pushing Kulusevski back up to RF) was a great call and was pivotal with us being able to actually have more possession in that period. Maddison was all over the place and constantly dropping deep and helping us play through City's press in deeper areas too (which admittedly wasn't as good as it would be with Rodri in it). For that middle chunk of game our midfield (with the right balance) was able to compete with theirs. This highlights the importance of both Bissouma and Maddison in that:
I think Ange deserves a lot of credit for the way we played yesterday from 13-60 minutes - that was as proactive as I've seen any team be (along with Klopp's best Liverpool) away at Guardiola's City and earned us 3 goals, and once 3-0 up we defended very well.
The team selections married the tactics and the resulting performance was outstanding. Certainly the best by any Spurs manager at ManC during the Guardiola era - even caveating with their current form dip.
