I'd have more respect for you lot if you can out and said this sort of shit immediately after the Ipswich game. Radio silence though from the clappers after that one.
What do mean more respect and 'clappers'?

I think I'm pretty fair with my opinion on Ange. I certainly don't think he's the messiah but on the other hand I certainly think he's improved us as a football club in the time he's been here. I'll back him as I want the football club to be successful in the long term which I believe Ange is doing.

Tbh I took a break from the forum after the Ipswich game, I was very frustrated with the result and two weeks of reading endless comments on here about 'he needs to be sacked' etc I get quite tired of.

We need it in the league though. I’m not talking about him proving people wrong, I’m ignoring that, I’m just talking about us improving our league position. We could easily be third with one more win for example. I know all teams can say this but we should really have 5 more points than we do. Now we need to pick them up in harder games. Mind you if somehow we beat Liverpool and Chelsea at home it is like a six point swing I guess.
I guess putting 5 wins on the bounce in the league is challenging because of the amount of fixtures we play with cup games.

Swings and roundabouts, lose to Ipswich, make up the points against Man City 😄

Madness how quick this forum changes in a few days. Last week it was just john thomas, davey88 and a load of accounts with Daniel Levy as their profile picture laughing at me for trying to find positives. A week later and its all different accounts on here high fiving eachother and no sign of the lads.

There was also a conspiracy theory accepted on here last week that I was shady on some sort of burner account. A week really is a long time in football!

From Cowlin on X

Tim Sherwood on Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou: “I’m pleased for the manager because there’s probably a 50-50 split on Tottenham fans who either want him or amazingly want him out.
“It’s incredible. Shame on you guys for wanting this guy out. This guy, for me, is a breath of fresh air and what Tottenham needed.
“He needs results like this to convince a lot of the fan base that he is the main man. Give him time, give him the money, give him a few transfer windows, he’s got a clear identity — he will win trophies at this football club but he needs to be given time to be able to do it.
“The City game is a good, good reminder for a lot of those fans who ring up these phone ins demanding the manager out and saying he’s not good enough. Believe me, he is good enough.
“He is a top drawer manager who’s got different ideas to the majority of managers in the Premier League.”

If I could offer you and a couple of other people on here one small bit of advice, it would honestly to stop fixating on what complete strangers say about football on a Internet forum....its less than inconsequential.

They love a conspiracy on here, I'm surprised you weren't accused of being an ENIC shill and working for Daniel Levy to infiltrate the forums in order to paint ENIC in a good light to curtail the criticism of them

Wait, perhaps you are 😲

I agree with all he says here but I struggle to applaud him because he's TS , couldn't stand him as a Spurs player and coach ,
He is a much better pundit .

One thing that distorts those numbers a lot is the fact that Kulusevski didn't stay out wide as Johnson would do. I can't post a screenshot from SofaScore unfortunately but if you've got the app then take a look at our average player positions from this game, Kulusevski came off the wing so often that his average position was just 11yrds away from the centre circle just off to the right of it and inside City's half (our furthest forward player).

The main reason we are one side biased is us looking to overload that part of the pitch, by doing so we are drawing the oppo over too and thus huge spaces are created (in this case on the right). Yesterday our players staying on the left were Son and Solanke even showing a left bias, with Udogie and Madders a tad deeper, what is interesting also is that for this game Biss was just behind Madders (more advanced than Sarr who was on the right. Basicly there's a massive void on the right in front of Sarr and Porro, both who were looking for 3rd man runs from deep, or overlapping Kulu when his came in off his line.

I don’t think that does distort the numbers so much as having Maddison on that left side. Yes, Kulusevski drifts inside, but so does Son and Maddison. It’s nearly always the same, when he plays, play inevitably flows through him more than it does if Sarr or Kulusevski play as the other 8, neither of whom get themselves on the ball anywhere near as much as Maddison, even when our more ball playing RCB Romero is playing.

I also find it very unlikely we would target City’s stronger defensive side (their right) as a policy.

You lost your password as well? I hear you bro, it happens 👊
He just did what I did, left the site for a bit, knowing exactly what would happen for nigh on 2 weeks.

We were all angry about the Ipswich result, but we all know the individuals who'd be on here gleefully picking fights. It's all they wanted, hence all the "they've disappeared" bollox. They couldn't get the satisfaction then, so now they're on here, a day after getting over their disappointment at being proven spectacularly wrong, to pick fights again.

I don't bother with the early part of match threads normally, if we're not 3-0 up after 15 minutes then the Firestarters are busy trying to burn the forum down, but I'll hazard a guess it went like this;

0-20 minutes in: "They're gonna put up a cricket score, we're absolutely shite!"

First goal goes in: "Totally against the run of players, we're just lucky. We've just pissed City off now, they're still going to batter us"

Second goal goes in: _____________

Third goal goes in: [user logged off]
