It’s two sides of the same coin.

But we have had *some* good moments under this ownership when it aligns once in a blue moon. It’s not all doom and gloom even though it seems it. His penny pinching and frugality severely hamstrings us. I don’t think he specifically wants us to fail, he just doesn’t want to win enough. We overspend on average players, because the elite ones are too expensive in wages but those wages and players are what sets you up to win. 🤷‍♀️ It’s unlikely to change whilst he’s here and he part owns the club. So he’s regrettably not going anywhere soon. Not sure what the answer is there.

It is however, clear that we’ve gone as far as we can with Ange.
Chelsea spend money to try and win the league. We spend money to try and compete for top four. There definitely is a difference in mentality to trying to win things.

I look at what Newcastle did with shearer. Bought him back to the club at huge expense at the height of his career.

If Kane had left us earlier on in his career do you think ENIC would have paid a UK transfer record to bring him back? Not a hope in hell.

We are an entertainment/ property investment company before a football club.

Just how it is.
The clues in the name.

My Scottish cousins are waiting for him with open arms at Ibrox this week. They get to laugh at me and the ex Celtic manager if they pull off a win.

Don’t let me down Angelos.

The most demoralizing part is I don’t have any belief things will change with him sacked. I don’t have any hope with this squad and chairman.

The only short term fix is if we get someone who plays 352 purely due to the nature of the players we have. Means our wing backs can be wing backs so would be more balanced. Doesn’t fix the club though.

Forster
Gray Dragusin VDV
Porro Sarr Bissouma Kulusevski Udogie
Solanke Son

I still think we played well and with a bit of luck would have got the result.
Oh man. This is low grade fucking trolling at it's worst.

We were fucking shite. Pure and simple.

Handed a 2 goal head start by our bitter, hated rivals only to concede 4 goals, at home and get thoroughly humiliated once again in front of a world wide audience.

A weak, pathetic, disgusting performance that personifies the club from the ownership down.

"We played well"

And some of our fans wonder why everyone else laughs at us .:avbcringe:

2 ridiculous penalties by us, Son missed a sitter, so did Bisouma. Chelsea diving all over the place to slow down our transition. Yes our performance could have, should have been better ( should choose my words better. Not so much we played well but I don’t think it was as bad as some are making out). But if those penalties aren’t given away and we convert more of our chances, bloody different game. I know, I know, it’s the ifs and buts. It’s true though. Btw they did score an absolute speccy too.

Champions league football in seasons 2, 3, 4 & 5.
2 actual title challenges.
A champions league final.
A league cup final.

He'd run his course when he left and needed to move on.
But what he did at Spurs is something Postecoglou could ever dream of. Even with Poch's squad.

Players have given up. They know it doesn't work. All the possession and control and Woolwich ans Newcastle both beat us with relative ease.
There was something to build on. It was working earlier in the season. We lacked quality and cutting edge. The only way you get that is getting better quality up top. Someone else coming will find out the same if we try to be a dominant team. We’ll end up a team that plays mainly on the break again.

None of that is success to me.

Plenty of potential and ifs and buts but no real success

And if that gets more wins than losses, then great.
All those utter wallies who said they'd rather see us lose while playing "good football" are getting what they wished for.

Ange is so finished now, you could probably make Son player coach and we'd at least steady the ship.

The only option now is to cut out the cancer that is going to drag us down the table.
It's a horrible phrase, I admit, but it's the only one that fits right now.

It's more successful than being in the bottom six ya pillock
