Managers come and managers fail. They live and die by results. Pretending they know nothing about the game is just the most basic and pathetic form of fandom cope.
It really is as simple as this: his results aren't good enough. That's it. That's all you need.

The failings of any premier league coach are almost always due to ego, stubbornness or factors outside their control. It’s very rarely down to knowledge. These guys (including Ange) know more about the game than all of us combined.
I personally think he’s just an incredibly stubborn person. Which I can see how that has led to success elsewhere.
Being a top football manager is SO MUCH more than knowledge. Like you say, AVB is hugely knowledgeable, studious and intelligent. Tuchel is by far the best in this regard but a Klopp is a better manager.
