I wanted Dier to go as much as the next man, but he would have done a hell of a lot better than Dragusin has.Everything went downhill once we got rid of Dier last season , coincidence?
This team could use Hojberg as well.
A physical presence in midfield that's willing to be a workhorse.

Let's not revise history, Dier was a constant brain farter, slow as fuck and generally incapable of doing much right.

No doubt. It was a terrible result.
I would argue that Ange still doesn't have the players that he wants for the attacking system he wants to play. I blame him for continuing to jam players into positions they won't succeed. I blame the board for buying the wrong players.
Given the current squad, what kind of manager will do well here?
Do we have the 1v1 wingers and inverted fullbacks needed for Ange? No!
Do we have the defenders who are comfortable sitting back inviting pressure and counter? No
I know those are the two extremes and there is the in-between, but once again we have a bunch of misfit players and no real identity.
Just seen talksports opinion on tottenham. Perry groves ex Woolwich and matterface a chelsea fan. Utter cobblers opinion on tottenham. Can only think that Ange might be best man for a club official next summer so not the right time to sack him atm. 
I believe more in relegation with him than turning things around

Dier had a peak season under poch. Was outstanding that season. Eriksen did get us out the shit a few times with late winners. But poch takes credit as we finished stronger matches. Under ange we fatigue.

Dier was in an epic team that didn't rely on him.
He had the likes of Jan and Toby behind to bail him out when he fucked up, he had the likes of Dembele or Wanyama next to him.
He was never the reason.
I just dont understand why radio and tv ask for opinions on tottenham from people who have no affiliation with tottenham. When its liverpool or man utd carragher and neville are always on. Even neville has a 30 minute podcast on man utd. Unbalanced coverage imo. Redknapp always thought he was bigger than us so take all three of them as a pinch of salt. If harry redknapp, hoddle, dawson, sherwood were the pundits on radio and tv then its genuine and would take notice. Tbh harry redknapp and hoddle should be consultants to the board. Vertonghen, alderweireld and van der vaart should be involved with our academy. They were ex ajax as well and one of best academies in world.
