Let's not rewrite history too. Klopp make an instant impact there and the end of his first season they were European finalists. Then CL Finalists, CL regulars, title challengers and CL and title winners. One of the best coaches in Europe when he went there.
His impact was instant, we played them in Klopps first game and they ran/played us off the park. The comparisons to Ange are ridiculous.
Ange has been here 18 months and we are getting worse, far worse, abysmal. There are no positives at all. Ange didn't win us anything, or even get close to a final. He's a fraud.
The all out famous Ange attacking football leads to a mighty 4 goals in those 4 games. This attacking myth is BS. When we need goals there is a distinct lack of them.
Yes would be fully behind having Harry and Glenn as consultants to the board but like pleat.
It's because they are utterly fucking clueless. The majority of football fans, are completely clueless. They won't realise it until it's too late, and we've lost another half dozen games, maybe even finish the season 15th. Yet they still will find excuses for Ange, say back him in the summer, give him next season.
If people cannot see the many many reasons why Ange should be sacked, and that another manager could do far better with this current squad, then they never will think he should be sacked. For them, it's injuries, lack of backing, always anyone but the manager etc

So after his miracle run that ended in Oct 2023, he's only had back to back wins on three occasions.

It’s pretty amazing how similar that pattern is for Jose, Conte and AngePoints-per-game-per-manager.
I dunno, it wasn't immediate.
He took 12/27 points in his first 9 matches and 23/51 in his first 17, and I wasn't the only one gleefully calling him Flopp.
Did turn it around quickly coming out of that first January window, though.

They were inconsistent in the league for a while but his style of play was noticeable immediately and he took them to a European final in his first season. They also showed a constant if times inconsistent upward trend of improvement. That showed everyone pretty early on, he was going to be a special manager for them.
When a manager takes over a club I always look for constant improvement. I would much rather a manager take 12/27 in his first 9 games, but show constant improvement. Rather than win his first 9 games but then get worse and worse.
Only one of those above shows a manager is improving the team, and not just relying on initial new manager bounce.
It's why Amorim, well nobody should be getting carried away and calling him a flop now. Of course at some point he will need to show improvement, but it's far too early yet. That said, there is always the need for any manager to get enough results to keep their job, enough to give them the time to improve the team. You can't just keep losing and then say you need time, it doesn't work like that. That is why doing well in another competition, like a cup final, can buy you more time too. Klopp did that, Arteta won a cup. Again Ange did neither.
So Ange has the lowest Average and not hitting anywhere near his peak in the last 25 games.Points-per-game-per-manager.

Yeah, in the early days he was criticised a lot for not being able to set up a defence. But the difference between our club and L’pool is that they invested in the keeper &VVD and it all turned around.
