A lot of those nobodies Bournemouth have would be great signings, however I think some of our fanbase don't have the patience to make those signings. If we'd have signed Kerkez and Seymenyo they'd be getting pelters.

There is a section of the fan base which is patient with it.. the likes of Sarr and Udogie for example. However the moment we lose a match the amount of tweets I see saying "buy championship players, get championship results" is embarrassing.
One thing I've learned through all my years cruising forums and message boards, is that most Spurs fans don't know their arse from their elbow when it comes to player signings.
I never pretend to know anything about most of the players we sign. Some act like they're world wide superscouts who watch every players entire career. X player will be massive for us, game changing, this will make us 'uge"
X is shit.
Same old shit every window. People making out like they know what they're on about when they don't.

Well it’s nonsense in all directions as the people who have said he wasn’t up to it have been attacked and called gooners and not true fansfor months on end.

I think everyone here is a fan, and it’s winds me up no end when people on here get personal to each other - no need for it. Direct the anger at the club.

Hmmm

They aren't sacking him are they.

Just seems like business as usual today.

The board and Levy are proper useless wankers. Just wtf are they doing?

Yesterday was the most sack worthy performance I have seen for many years. How one earth is he surviving yet again?

I've said this before but it's always worth repeating.

West Ham, Villa and Newcastle all got relegated because they all stuck with terrible, awful managers for too long.
Rivalries to one side, none of them should ever be getting relegated. It can happen. It will happen to us the longer we wait. This season less likely but possible. If we were stupid enough to give him next season as well, I'd say we'd be one of the more likely to go down. Especially if the sides that come up are fairly strong. The current top 6 of the Championship all have PL experience.

1-4 vs Chelsea
2-1 vs Wolves
1-2 Vs West Ham
4-2 Vs Brighton
1-2 vs Wolves
3-0 Vs Fulham
4-0 Vs Newcastle
2-3 Vs Arse (3 down)
2-0 Vs Chelsea (they had the injury crisis, not us)
4-2 vs Liverpool (4 down)

Those are just last seasons embarrassments. Any of them sack worthy when you actually look at the performance and the circumstances. Like teams with massive injury problems twatting us a full strength.
The man is killing us.

To the tune of "Oh when the Spurs go marching in". It's nowhere near Ed Vanderlay levels. In lyrical terms, think of me as Ange to his Pep. But every little helps to flush this turd down the U-ey right?

"Oh when he goes"
"Oh when he goes"
"Oh when he fucks right out our club"
"We'll do a con-ga on the Darewalk"
"Oh we he fucks right out our club"

"He's got a suit"
"He's got a suit"
"He's got a suit that doesn't fit"
"He's got cough, looks down, and grumbles"
"Cos his team are fuckin shit"

"He's on the porn"
"He's on the porn"
"He's on the porn at Hotspur Way"
"He doesn't coach, improve or train them"
"You can see it in our play"

[all together]

That Fulham defeat was horrendous.

Fuck me, he really is the worst manager we have ever had. I can't believe the club fell for his nonsense and continue to do so.

Usually I don’t listen to Bosnich but you’ve got to assume as he knows the manager, that he’s got a bit of an inside track. We can’t leave it until after Villa in the cup though surely? But it is something I could see levy doing to shift the blame.

“I believe, come the first week of February, the second leg of the League Cup semi-final against Liverpool, followed by the Aston Villa tie in the FA Cup, will decide his fate. I can understand exactly what they said about injuries and so forth. A lot of those injuries are muscular injuries, as far as I am concerned, people should start doing a little bit of investigating work, in terms of what are they doing in training. A lot of them look shot to pieces. It’s a high-energy game that he plays. That’s all well and good when you are playing well. But, when you are playing every three days, things aren’t going well, and people are suspended or injured. We have said it a million times, you need alternative ways of playing. They have a chance of redemption. That first week of February will decide his fate.”

I offer a rethink of 'Freed From Desire'...

Big Ange don't get no money
He's got his strong beliefs
Big Ange don't get no flowers
He's got his strong beliefs
Big Ange don't feel my pain
He's got his strong beliefs
Big Ange, no longer funny
With all his strong beliefs

"No false rewards", "play the game not the scoreboard"
Coaching is tough, but we can't take no more

Tottenham's on fire
Ange sits there and says "it's fine"
Tottenham's on fire
Yet still play with a high line
Tottenham's on fire
Self-destruction by design
Tottenham's on fire

Ooh...

I think our players would enjoy these right now!!

lol we can’t wait until February. Yeah, Levy, let’s lose to Leicester and Brentford first. 😅

We lost, at home, to Ipswich.

Anybody just shrugging relegation off as impossible or very unlikely should go and re-watch that match.

We are easy to defend against, and easy to score against. There isn't a team in this league that will be going into a fixture against us thinking they can't get a result. They aren't sitting deep because they fear us, or because we're one of the big boys, they're doing it because they know it's as close to a guaranteed 3 points as you'll get.

Leicester have lost 7 in a row (?), will anybody really be surprised if they turn up and turn us over? I think the only people dumb enough to be shocked would be our players.

My conspiracy theory:

- I wonder if Levy hasn't signed anyone because he knows the way we're going might mean Ange is sacked soon, so he's not spending any money on helping the side for that reason, and will sack Ange in February to save himself spending any more money in Jan. Would be typical of him.

That Fulham defeat was horrendous.
thats when it should've become untenable for levy. that was a long, long time ago.

anyone who understands it knew during the chelsea game this guys a clown and we hadnt even lost a game then. but a chairman with standards and half an idea would of realised after fulham that it wasnt getting turned around. we didnt just lose that game we got well and truly peppered up.

I’m likely wrong but I can see us buying two players reasonably quickly now, and sticking with Ange until the summer for a few reasons.

  1. Unlikely to be relegated regardless
  2. Unlikely to do anything in the league now, just too late
  3. No managers available now, Mason really isn’t an improvement
  4. Sticking with ange and buying two players shows we tried to back our manager, which makes us a little more appealing for the next mug
Or he’ll just get sacked this morning

I really hope it is the latter option.

Cause his way of playing already has lost the squad completely. Not knowingly, I am not saying that they would go out to sabotage Ange position. No. But if you follow it and get beaten and achieve absolute shit results for more than year, this dissapointment will be already somewhere in your spine. You are used to getting beat and while you try as well as you can, you on some level already know that you will lose the game.

Giving him now 2 new players that fit specifically to his system is the same kind of move than buying Porro for Conte. It is already too late.
On the plus side- Porro as transfer hasn't been a bad one.
